FRUIT STEM ROOTS
All plants have got roots, a stem and leaves. The roots are under the ground. They absorb water and nutrients from the soil. They fix the plant to the ground. The stem grows above the ground. It transports the nutrients around the plant. It supports the plant. Some plants have got a flexible stem. Another plants, like trees, have got a hard stem which is called trunk. Leaves are usually green. They absorb sunlight and air. Some plants have got flowers and fruits. There are seeds inside the fruits.
TYPES OF PLANTS TREE

Poplar tree
Willow
Beech tree
Mulberry tree
Deciduous trees lose their leaves in autumn.
WILD PLANTS
CULTIVATED PLANTS
Wild plants grow without the help of humans.
Cultivated plants grow with the help of humans.
WHICH PART OF THE PLANT CAN WE EAT? THE ROOTS
THE LEAVES
THE STEM Carrots are the roots of the plant.
Lettuce is the leaf of the plant.
THE FLOWER
THE FRUIT Asparagus are the stem of the plant.
Cauliflower is the flower of the plant.
Apples are the fruits of the plant.
PLANTS ARE IMPORTANT PLANTS PRODUCE OXYGEN. ALL LIVING THINGS NEED OXYGEN TO BREATHE.
PLANTS PROVIDE FOOD FOR HERBIVORES, LIKE COWS.
PLANTS PROVIDE FOOD FOR US, TOO.
OTHER USES OF PLANTS FOR FURNITURE AND PAPER
FOR CLOTHES
Wood comes from trees. We use wood to make furniture and paper.
Cotton comes from cotton plants. We use cotton to make clothes.
FOR MEDICINES
FOR DECORATION
A lot of medicines come from plants.
