A Message From Our Superintendent North Royalton City Schools’ Bear Families, As I begin my third year here in the District, I am proud to see all of the things we have done and all of the things we continue to do to make our District one of the premier districts in the Cleveland area.
We have great students. We have a world class staff. And we have a community that values and supports education! This past year was the first year of our new District strategic plan. More than 75 committee members, including students, staff, parents and community members helped create our plan. It identifies the items we believe will move our District forward and create the best possible opportunities for our students. The plan does not identify all that we do. It does identify the tasks we believe will move the District forward the most effectively. The Teaching and Learning team strives each day to support our teachers and our building administrative teams as we all work to

inspire and empower learners across the North Royalton City Schools. Our strategic plan outlines various tasks for what the Teaching and Learning team needs to do in relation to curriculum and instruction to ensure that we are a model in identifying individual student needs and providing comprehensive support across all areas of learning. Finally, please download our District App and check out our newly designed website at www.northroyaltonsd.org! We are excited to continue to strengthen our communication with students, families and staff. We look forward to continuing the excellence as we implement our strategic plan over the next two years. Our goal, simply, is to be the greatest possible place we can for our students! Michael Laub, Superintendent North Royalton City Schools
