The long, lazy, leisurely days of summer are over and class is in once more. For some it’s an exciting time of catching up with friends, taking on new challenges and setting goals for success. For others, it will be their very first step towards an education that could set them up for life. Many fit into neither category, and perhaps most students are simply readjusting to early starts and hoping they can find their calculator again, months after throwing it into the depths of the cupboard with a sigh of relief. For parents it can be a time of mixed emotions and nervous excitement.
