The second Sunday in May really is much more than a highlight of the year for jewellers, florists, chocolatiers and greeting card manufacturers. Rather it’s the perfect time to show your sincere love and appreciation for the lady who has been with you from the beginning - Mum. Intended as a day with a focus on peace and love and a fixture on calendars for many years now, Mother’s Day is a time when families gather to celebrate and honour the women who brought new life into the world and the sacrifices they made for the love of their brood. With our hectic lives and busy schedules it’s often difficult to find time to connect and communicate, making it all the more important to pause and cherish mothers on their special day.
