MY HOT TIP FOR 2011 – NEWPORT I often get asked for my prediction on what suburb will take off in the coming year. After careful consideration, I believe Newport represents excellent value for astute buyers, especially those in the $500,000 to $700,000 price bracket. Our recent Auction result at 54 River Street, Newport which sold above reserve for $662,500 showed to me the benefit of taking a longer term view with unrenovated homes and how this particular property will reap the rewards to the new buyer in the years to come.
