This is in fact the second time we have won this award. The previous occasion was in 2008 during the GFC, so to win again during another tough year is perhaps no coincidence. Challenging economic times drive us to work harder and provide better solutions. Our clients expect it and we expect it of ourselves. What is particularly pleasing about the REIV Agency of the Year Award is;
We noticed earlier in the year a general trend that rental payments were coming in later and properties were often taking longer to sell or lease. We could feel the pressure on small businesses and owners alike and as such introduced some initiatives to assist where possible. We have made it easier for tenants to pay their rental and outgoings. Whether it is by direct deposit, credit card or BPay, all options are now available which also enables us to transfer the funds to Landlords more swiftly. We now offer to review electricity bills and have found that many tenants were on higher domestic rates and were simply paying too much. For example, for one tenant we were able to find a more competitive rate saving them $9,743 per annum. In the ever-changing world of marketing and communication, we find that purchasers, property owners and landlords alike are seeking easy to access, helpful information about commercial and industrial property. We have significantly upgraded our website to provide much more than a list of properties. Rather, it is a wealth of information to help you make informed decisions. This year in particular we have noticed a surge in demand for ‘strategic advice’. Increasingly Landlords and Vendors are spending more time with us to review their property investments and solve any issues.
