MARKET REPORT

Compton Green has dealt with the challenges of the property market like many others. As we reflect back on last year, we see that we have dealt with the market quite well. Essentially the market volatility is unprecedented and the best agents are those who can adapt themselves and their clients to the “new� market conditions as quickly as possible.

Growth in our team and the impact of our new brand has been a direct contribution to what we have called, a good year. Our days on market have stretched out to 55 days but we have simply sold more homes. This has given us a leadership position in Williamstown and Yarraville. We have also noted a new record price for a home in Yarraville and our most consistent and stable year in Property Management. As we look ahead in 2012 it looks like an exciting year for Compton Green. With the further impact of our new brand expected and the engagement of new people to our team and even bigger and more informative events such as the State of the Market Information Evening, 2012 will be a year to look forward to.

Our approach to everything we do will remain, we are focused on great sales results and risk free property management. Our offices in Williamstown will be rebuilt through the year and we look forward to moving into a new building late 2012 early 2013.
