EngTech EngTech MIMechE Those adept at using proven procedures to solve practical engineering problems. Must demonstrate learning to NVQ/SVQ level 3 or similar. Incorporated Engineer IEng MIMechE Those involved in operational roles, maintaining and managing applications of technology at the highest efficiency. Requires knowledge to Bachelor’s degree level. Chartered Engineer CEng MIMechE Those involved in solving engineering problems either by innovation, creativity or change. Should be able to show learning to the equivalent of a Master’s degree. Fellow FIMechE Those distinguished by innovation in the field and exceptional commitment to mechanical engineering. The Engineering Council is the regulatory body responsible for the registration of Engineering Technicians and Incorporated and Chartered Engineers.
