Our journey began, in the verdant landscape of the Yorkshire Dales, where we first drew back the sliding doors of the pioneering Natural Retreats “eco-lodge” in 2006. We encouraged guests to discover the true luxury of nature, where modern self-catering properties were complimented by contemporary standards of hospitality; whilst set to inspiring landscapes that left guests feeling invigorated and longing to return.
The demand for these unique experiences went beyond all expectations and reflected the changing needs of a traditional travel sector that had remained dormant for decades. The need to evolve was clear, and so began our unwavering mission to deliver amazing holidays, as a boutique agent, operator, vendor and more latterly, guardian of luxury holiday homes. A decade later, having established a strong presence in Scotland, North Wales and the Southwest, and keen to venture into new territories, we re-branded as Together Travel Co.
Together Travel Co embodies our shared passion for travel and great hospitality, where in an increasingly fast-paced world, families and friends are often separated by distance. Yet, despite all the wonders of modern technology available today-nothing can beat the joy of slowing down and reconnecting with loved ones in person.
Together Travel Co is proud to play host to these special moments, and our beautiful portfolio of homes promise to live up to every occasion. From coastal cottages to converted Castles, to glamping pods and luxury lodges, our experienced Concierge will assist you in finding the perfect property that meets all your expectations.
Whilst retaining our commitment to high standards, we also wanted to introduce a broader portfolio of holiday destinations to our loyal followers, in beautiful market towns like York and Chester. Forming the Ark Collection in 2019, we identified, and partnered with privately owned holiday homes that we felt reflected our approach to quality and service. Similarly, our new “Down to Earth” collection may also appeal to those seeking an authentic glamping-style holiday, at a slower pace, akin to camping but with a few home comforts thrown in!
Whether enjoying a floating pod or a treetop escape, both the Ark and Down to Earth collections provide an eclectic choice of travel experiences for the more adventurous explorer. Wonderful. The location of the lodge was perfect. A short 3 minute drive into Richmond and what a lovely town it is.The Lodges are set in a quiet peaceful area. We had Lodge 2 which was very private.
Large expanse of lawns in front of the lodge with large areas further out.Full glass windows along one entire wall giving beautiful views. Rabbits are in abundance and come up to the lodge and so lovely to watch them playing and feeding. What a delight. Every need catered for in the Lodge. Huge beds, 2 Bathrooms, 3 bedrooms. Cooking facilities good. Cannot praise highly enough. Thankyou Together

Stayed in lodge 5 for 5 nights at Easter and the lodge exceeded our expectations. Spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped, warm, cosy and amazing views. We loved everything about this lodge and we will return. Fantastic base to explore Wick, Thurso and the surrounding areas. Really enjoyed John O’Groats…small shops, pub, ice cream shop, cocktails at the distillery, all just a minutes’ walk from the lodge.
The beds in the lodge were so comfortable, the washing machine and tumble dryer were excellent, dishwasher and coffee machine were an added bonus, and the white company toiletries were a very nice touch.
We only used the log burning fire twice during our stay and it was so cosy. The glass doors at the front open wide and are amazing on a beautiful day. We would highly recommend these peaceful lodges.
