Having been through a num ber of serious and catastrophic challenges over the last two years, from the Covid-19 pan demic, to the civil unrest in July last year and most recently the deadly and devastating floods which gripped the city, our story as the business community of KZN is one of resilience.

Slowly but surely we will get back on our feet. It might be difficult, but things are getting better.

Shamun launched the business from the humble beginnings of an engineer ing workshop at the back of their then Malvern home, in Queensburgh. Driven by determination, motivation and the ambition to diversify his products,he then decided to expand his horizons and move into his first factory, bought at Queensmead Industrial Park. This was the beginning of his soar to success. Tilley Doors was then bought and taken over by Shamun and Omeera Parsad. At that time Tilley, although already a household name in garage doors, was improved and taken to a different level by Shamun’s management.
