90 MINUTE YOGA

This 90-minute Autumn yoga practice will focus on calm and stability. We will concentrate on poses, breath work, and meditation that will help us find a path to being grounded and centered.
TIME TO LET GO

As the trees let go of their leaves, this practice will embrace the cycle of letting go, resting, and rejuvenation. A time to exercise your mind and body, you will leave feeling calm, nourished, and refreshed.

In the YMCA’s Youth Flag Football League, children and their families will enjoy the football experience every time they step on the field. Players will learn the fundamentals of the game in a safe and fun environment. Each participant will receive a jersey to wear for all games and to keep. Weekly practices and games.

In the YMCA’s Before and After School program, kids participate in physical, learning, and imaginative activities that encourage them to explore who they are and what they can achieve. Kids have fun, make new friends, and create memories that last a lifetime.

Get outside and enjoy the warm weather and the company of your fellow members as part of the Morris Community YMCA Fab 50 Walking Club. Walk lengths will progress in time each week, as we work up to a one hour walk. A YMCA staff member will lead group walks through the beautiful downtown district and along the river walk, among other locations. Please bring a water bottle and comfortable walking shoes and plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early to allow for stretching. In cases of inclement weather, please contact the Y. Registration is required and please notify Jordan at joverton@jolietymca.org if you can not attend a session once signed up.
