This is a great opportunity to learn more about the JETS and to meet our team and coaching staff. Throughout the week, coaches will be evaluating swimmers for team placement. A YMCA membership is not required to participate in the clinic. Spots for the team are limited. Clinic registration at a site does not guarantee practice site for the upcoming season.

TEAMWORK HAPPENS HERE
When kids play sports, they get more than just exercise. Besides being physically healthier, they have higher self-esteem and a healthier body image. Kids who play sports perform better in school, develop better interpersonal skills, and work better in groups.
The Y Youth Sports program maximizes the positive effects of playing sports by emphasizing healthy competition and promoting teamwork. The Y focuses on the life lessons that can be learned from sports, and coaches strive to instill a positive self-image in each player.

Walk lengths will progress in time each week, as we work up to a one hour walk. A YMCA staff member will lead group walks through the beautiful downtown district and along the river walk, among other locations. Please bring a water bottle and comfortable walking shoes and plan to arrive 5-10 minutes early to allow for stretching. In cases of inclement weather, please contact the Y.
