Spotlight The crime-solving duo returns for Season 3! James Norton stars as the handsome, jazz-loving vicar Sidney Chambers, with Robson Green as his law-enforcement ally, Inspector Geordie Keating, in Grantchester, the mystery series based on the acclaimed novels by James Runcie.

Masterpiece Mystery!: Grantchester

Although Sidney lives the life of a clergyman, sometimes he can’t help but fall into more worldly habits as he solves murders in the bucolic village of Grantchester, as he tirelessly searches for justice, spiritual fulfillment, love, and a really hip jazz club.

When we last left the sleepy village, Sidney faced a moral dilemma: to be with the woman he loves, or take the moral high road. The vicar has never been a saint, but is this a step too far? Highlights Come to the Radio-TV Open House! Following a one-year hiatus, the annual WFIU-WTIU Open House returns on Thursday, October 12 from 6pm to 8pm at the Radio-TV Building on the IU campus. This year’s Open House will have a science focus in honor of our special guests Paula Apsell and Doug Hamilton from the longrunning PBS series NOVA. Plan to be in attendance by 7pm to see a brief presentation from our special guests. Meet WFIU and WTIU personalities and take a tour of our broadcast facilities. The Open House includes light refreshments courtesy of Terry’s Banquets & Catering, Oliver Winery, and Cardinal Spirits. It’s our way of thanking you for your support as you get an insider’s look at public broadcasting. The Radio-TV Building is right next door to the IU Art Museum. The Open House is a free event and open to the public.

The Durrells in Corfu Sunday, October 15 at 8pm

Based on Gerald Durrell’s beloved memoirs, this sixpart series tells the story of Louisa Durrell, the harried widowed mother of a brood of recalcitrant children aged 12 to 22. In the mid-1930s, Louisa moves the floundering family from England to Corfu to recharge their lives, and hers. Season 2 finds the family in dire financial straits. They have a new landlady, Vasilia, an island beauty who holds a mysterious grudge against Louisa. Desperate for cash, Louisa sells homemade British delicacies at the village market. The locals start to develop a taste for scotch eggs and spotted dick when Vasilia engineers a public health crisis.
