Emergency Response Information EVACUATION IN THE EVENT IT IS NECESSARY TO EVACUATE THIS FACILITY, THE EVACUATION ROUTES SHALL BE AS FOLLOWS: IF LOCATED ON FLOORS 1, 2 or 3: Please exit using the nearest stairway. Stairways are located on all four corners of the building-northwest, northeast, southwest, and southeast. In addition, there is an exit on the south side of the 1st floor. If the nearest stairway is blocked for any reason, please take the next nearest stairway. IF LOCATED IN THE GARDEN LEVEL (basement): Please exit using the nearest stairway/exit. Persons in the Clinic area should exit via the main clinic doors (through the reception area) on the northeast side of the building. On this floor there is NO exit/stairway in the southwest corner. Stairway/exits are located in the southeast, northeast, northwest, and through the Clinic reception area. If the nearest stairway or exit is blocked for any reason, please take the next nearest exit. DIAGRAMS OF EVACUATION ROUTES FOR THIS BUILDING ARE POSTED IN CONSPICUOUS LOCATIONS ON EACH FLOOR OF THE BUILDING. IMPORTANT: ELEVATORS ARE NOT TO BE USED DURING AN EMERGENCY EVACUATION. OCCUPANTS WILL BE NOTIFIED OF AN EMERGENCY EVACUATION BY PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICERS, THE BUILDING COORDINATOR, OTHER UNIVERSITY OFFICIALS OR ACTIVATION OF THE FIRE ALARM SYSTEM.
