An email notification will be sent to the student’s University email address, and to the email address provided by authorized users, to alert when a new bill is available for viewing. A text message option is also available. PAYMENT PROCEDURES The University’s Sycamore Plan provides three payment options: the Single Payment Plan, the Monthly Payment Plan, or the Variable Payment Plan. Should you not receive a bill, you are still responsible for paying by the deadline dates associated with the plan of your choice. SINGLE PAYMENT PLAN requires full payment of academic, housing, and mandatory fees by the payment deadline date. Full payment must be received for fall 2018 before August 21, 2018; spring 2019 fees are to be paid by January 15, 2019. The Variable Payment Plan Fee is assessed if academic and mandatory fees remain unpaid as of these dates. MONTHLY PAYMENT PLAN requires enrollment in the Tuition Management Systems (TMS) program, which allows you to spread your fall 2018/spring 2019 fees over ten months. A $65.00 nonrefundable enrollment fee is required. For more information, contact TMS at 1-800-722-4867 or indstate.afford.com. VARIABLE PAYMENT PLAN allows you the flexibility of determining the amount and timing of your payments, requiring only that your account be paid in full no later than the due date for the term.

THE FAMILY EDUCATION RIGHTS AND PRIVACY ACT OF 1974 The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA) restricts Indiana State University’s ability to provide personal information to anyone other than the student. You have the option to grant access to authorized users within Indiana State’s Student Account Suite at indstate.edu/ payisu. Once you provide the user access to your account, they can sign into the authorized payer area, view your electronic bills or account balance, and begin making payments on your account balance online. WITHDRAWALS An “official withdrawal” involves the student withdrawing from all classes for which they are registered, as well as notifying appropriate administrative officials of their decision to leave the university; this may include your academic advisor, the Financial Aid office, and the Residential Life office. If a student leaves without properly processing a withdrawal, the absences from class and from campus will be justification for the grade of “F” to be assigned for the courses in which the student is enrolled. The student is not officially withdrawn until they have completed the withdrawal process. Students seeking to withdraw from the current term must do so through the student self- service badge in the student portal. Select the Register Add/Drop link, followed by the current term. If you require a personal identification number (PIN) to make registration changes, you will need to contact your academic advisor to obtain this information. You must DROP all of your registered courses, by the correspondence deadlines, and submit changes in order to be officially withdrawn. Contact made after the deadline date may not relieve you of total financial responsibility. Questions concerning withdrawal from enrollment should be directed to the Office of Registration and Records at isu-orr@mail.indstate.edu or by phone at 812-237-2020. We encourage you to buy your parking permit online to avoid a $15 onsite fee. All vehicles parked on ISU property must display an ISU parking permit.

BIKE REGISTRY The bike registry is open to anyone that has a bicycle on campus and it is FREE. A bicycle can be registered at any time during normal business hours at the University Police, however, appointments can be made. You must have your bicycle with you at the time of registration. Data gathered during registration, including the bicycle serial number and picture, will be entered into the Police Department computer reporting system. You will be given an ISU tag with a number identifying your registration at ISU. In case that your bicycle is reported stolen, the Police Department has your information and the recovery chances are higher. At the beginning of the 2018 fall school year we will be hosting an event at the fountain when bicycles can be registered. We also suggest students secure their bikes with a U-lock. We currently have several bike racks throughout campus and University Apartments, as well as air pump stations and one “fix-it” station where you can make repairs to your bicycle with tools attached to the station. Rentable SPIN bikes are available on campus.

Union Board 812-237-3830

The Hulman Memorial Student Union Board provides an excellent opportunity for students to become engaged in an organization that is fun and gives students the chance to meet new people, provide service to the campus, and to learn valuable work and leadership skills. Union Board consists of nine committees that design and implement activities for their fellow students. Some of the activities the students plan are bingo, movie series, performers, food drives, homecoming events, spring week events, speakers, trips, and many more!
