GP Energy Ltd brings a multidisciplinary consortium of companies, under a public private initiative, including funding, with international perspective for an Integrated Waste Management Strategy designed specifically for Small Island States. We partner with CBO/NGO’s, build local capacity, develop strategic, practical, and appropriate economical solutions for integrating sustainability recycling business initiatives. This includes, up front engineering, planning, operations, facility development, financing with an exit strategy within 3-5 years using appropriate technologies.
Sustainability & Background| Our Company integrates the principles of long term sustainability into all of our planning designs as our core objective developing local enterprise. In 1990 we partnered with the largest waste management company in the US, BFI and developed Petrotrin Oil Company, Paper Recycling Program to comply with an IADB loan requirement, also 3 flour mills were recently installed in the Caribbean. In 2005 we also partnered with Stantec Canada, Rio Claro Construction, Planning and Associates, NTA Design ltd, Nathure ltd for an Integrated Waste Management plan, Beetham landfill. Trinidad.
Single Stream Sorting Plant Wet & Dry Recyclables
5 - 200 TPD
Strategy for Antigua | To design and build sorting / recycling systems which will reduce municipal household waste to almost zero landfilling within 3-5 years, including recycling sewage sludge and biomass into fuel. Conversion of hospital waste, airport waste, sea port waste into Refuse Derived Fuel using no burn technologies. Conversion of Food waste (Food Oil Grease), Wood waste, Slaughterhouse waste, marine sea weed, agri waste, wood scraps, into biogas, fertilizer and / or fuel. Our model empower CBO/NGO’s capacity to access funding as our exit strategy with downstream recycling enterprise. This economic model reduces the Island’s dependency on capital intensive Anaerobic Digestion plants, expensive consultant’s fees, landfill space, environmental conservation and fossil fuel whilst protecting its invaluable tourism industry.
Sewage waste to energy conversion
Small Modular Systems |Design, Build, Finance, Operate, Transfer with lifetime maintenance a planned co-mingled household waste sorting plant (5-200 TPD) using manual and optic sorting technologies. Removing all recyclables away from the waste stream and converting non-recyclable Waste into Energy using Smart affordable modular systems under the following timeline: 1- 1st Year | All household waste paper can be removed from the waste stream, this can be exported, in partnership with local NGO’s using our semi-automated co-mingled waste sorting systems. Develop sorted food waste into small scale bio diesel production, Clean and dirty Styrofoam recycling, Clean Old Corrugated Cartons recycling, Motor windscreen and glass recycling for construction are some zero emission, zero discharge eco modules available. 2- 2nd Year | Installation of Ultraviolet and Ozone disinfection, sewage wastewater for reuse and recycling. 3- 2nd – 5th Year | Food/sewage conversion into fertilizer, biogas and fuel. Economical cost-effective and an environmentally friendly alternative to fossil fuel. This practical common sense approach will have a significant impact for small island economies energy diversification renewable energy, loan guarantee by Miga, World Bank Group.
