Anyone can be a father, but it takes a special man to be a dad.

Family is the centre my Dadís world. Above everything, he is the man who would do anything to make sure his family are happy. I am eternally grateful to have been blessed with the most outgoing, energe琀椀c and fun-loving Dad.

My Dad has taught me that family is fundamental and love is our founda琀椀on. Throughout my life, my dad has encouraged me, help guide me make the right decisions, led as an excellent example always reminds me not to ìsweat the small stuff.”

YOUTH DAY

A day in which we remember and honour the youth that was ambushed by the apartheid regime police in Soweto on 16 June 1976. On the day, over 500 young people, including school students, were killed.

Police opened fire on approximately10000schoolstudentsin Soweto during a peaceful protest against the compulsory use of Afrikaans as a medium of instruc琀椀on in schools.

Why did they protest?

In 1976, there were 3 907 injuries, with the police responsible for 2 389 of them.
