Heart on Innovation, Eyes to World! Dear honorable INNOBIZ entrepreneurs, I am Lee Kyu-dae, the 7th chairman of the INNOBIZ Association. It has now been thirteen years since the INNOBIZ Association was founded in 2002. Under the slogan "Heart on Innovation, Eyes to World!" I have recently set five new innovation agendas and ten initiatives, and have pledged to devote myself to accomplishing them so that INNOBIZ companies and our association will be able to overcome the present economic situation and enjoy further success and prosperity. In order to place INNOBIZ on a solid foundation, I will come up with concrete plans for the implementation of "INNOBIZ innovation" and thereby enable INNOBIZ companies to experience the 'Enactment of INNOBIZ' and to enjoy an excellent business service. I also promise to establish not only an affiliated support center for "R&D innovation" to re-establish INNOBIZ as an innovation leader, but also the INNOBIZ M&A Support Center with a view to utilizing M&A tax relief and M&A special provision to promote technological innovation in accordance with the amendment of the relevant laws. Furthermore, the INNOBIZ Association aims to become a solid cornerstone that supports SMEs’ efforts to become enterprises with high potential by establishing the Convergence Support Center, which will assist with the creation of added value and promote technological and business cooperation among its member companies. Our association is renowned as an organization with one of the very best track records in job creation, having created around 30,000 jobs for three consecutive years. Our association now aims to strengthen its role as a job creation support center through "Job Innovation", in line with the job policies of the central government, and to create 50,000 quality jobs through close cooperation with local governments. Further, INNOBIZ aims to lead the globalization of SMEs through various activities, including the provision of support for the opening up of a global eco-innovation market, active participation in ODA works, and the establishment of a 'business triangle' connecting China,

Vietnam and Indonesia in a drive to boost technology-oriented collaboration and create opportunities for new business. Finally, the INNOZBIZ Association will become a firm stepping

stone toward the growth of start-up or small companies by mentoring their R&D or building

up cooperation in the fields of technology and market expansion. In this context, we have a

strong urge to spread and innovate our corporate social responsibility. I will do my best to make

the association work for and help INNOBIZ companies, members and SMEs, and contribute

to the industrial development of the country. Thank you!

INNOBIZ Support Program As INNOBIZ has finally been enacted according to the revision of the Technology Innovation Promotion Act (December, 2014), which was our long-cherished hope, the INNOBIZ Association will push ahead with its cooperative programs for globalizing and upgrading INNOBIZ companies, and will support them in demonstrating and promoting their excellent capabilities worldwide.

Management of Certified INNOBIZ The INNOBIZ Association has established the Affiliated Support Center and reorganized the INNOBIZ Policy Institute in order to meet many pressing and essential challenges. One of our most urgent tasks is to help INNOBIZ companies overcome the widespread problem of stagnating growth 15 years after start-up (on average) and make the leap to the next level as enterprises with great potential.
