El plan general del fraccionamiento, incluye campo de golf con 9 hoyos, 7 hoteles, 1200 condominios con operación tipo hotel y 700 villas unifamiliares en una extensión de 600 acres. It has 70 Mediterranean style buoys, diesel fuel service on the wharf and 110 volt electric outlets on each pier. It has umbrellas, tables, freezers and complete services (water, ice, drinks, telephone, fax and trash) on one side. It is equipped with with the proper signage for the access channel and for access to radio channels VHF 79 A and/or 16. This, along with all the proper authorities for documentation and immigration, makes your arrival into our Country easier. However, we recommend that you do the proper paperwork with the authorities at the port in Isla Mujeres when traveling from the north, since Puerto Aventuras depends on Cozumel and therefore the paperwork might be more expensive. Cuentan con un muelle para proveer diesel y gasolina, así como para descargar el tanque de sólidos de las embarcaciones. EL CID El Cid Marina has dockage for 150 boats from 25 to 120 ft in length, with piers made out of concrete that move up and down according to the tide. This provides stability and excellent security for the boats. The first PGA championship took place in 1916 at the Siwanoy Country Club in Bronxville, New York. Rodman Wanamaker donated the prize for this tournament, which is why it received its name as the Wanameker Trophy. The Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) is the largest sports association with over 28000 members. Nowadays this association has a representative objective for professional golf players and professors, since everything related to elite golfers in the United States and Canada, is run by the PGA Tour, an organism estranged from the PGA of America in 1968. The four most important tournaments in the world are the PGA Tour, the Augusta Masters, the US Open and the British Open. Each tournament is referred to as “Master” and the group of those four is called The Grand Slam. De enero a septiembre de este año, 2 millones 034 mil paseantes se han decidido por este destino turístico por lo que si no se presenta ninguna eventualidad se alcanzará e incluso se rebasará la cifra proyectada de 2.6 millones de visitantes, pues dentro de esta numeralia aún resta contabilizar el último trimestre del año, el cual sumará, por lo menos, un promedio de 200 mil paseantes por mes.

Por otra parte, en lo que hace a la ocupación de cuartos noche, ésta se incrementó en más de un millón. En 2004, considerando el acumulado hasta el tercer trimestre, la Riviera Maya tenía 22,642 cuartos, lo que representó una disposición de 6.1 millones de cuartos-noche, de los cuales se ocuparon 5.3 millones, es decir el 87.66 por ciento.
