Program your lights and decorations with timers to automatically turn on at dusk and switch off in the middle of the night. This helps save energy by limiting the display to just 8 hours during the evening, when they’re most visible.

INGREDIENTS:
Orange Date Nut Cake
4 ½ cups sugar (2 ½ for glaze) 4 cups flour
2 sticks butter 1 tsp. salt
4 eggs 1 tsp. baking soda
1 ½ cups orange juice (1 ¼ for glaze) 1 cup chopped dates
1 ½ cups buttermilk 1 cup chopped pecans
DIRECTIONS:
Cream butter and 2 cups sugar together well. Add eggs, one at a time. Add buttermilk and 2 tbsp. orange juice. Sift salt, soda and 3 cups flour together and add to batter. Use remaining flour to cover dates and pecans, and then fold them into the batter. Pour into well-greased and floured tube pan and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Meanwhile, mix 2 ½ cups sugar and 1 ¼ cups orange juice in a small pot and cook for ten minutes. Once the cake is ready, pour the glaze over the hot cake and let cool before removing from the pan.

Billing and Payment Options for Everyone
In the middle of your busy schedule, we understand convenience is important when it comes to paying your bills. Due to the recent changes in the U.S. Postal Service, first-class mail may now take up to five days to deliver. We encourage you to take advantage of our free payment options that allow you to view your bill electronically and ensure your payment is made securely and on time.
CheckOut
CheckOut is a free service that allows members to make cash payments at the retail locations where they already shop. Simply get your barcode on your phone or print it out to scan at the register and pay. Visit dixie.coop/check-out to learn more.
Auto pay
Auto pay allows you to enter your banking, credit or debit information once and then your payment is drafted each month. Best of all, it is self-managed, so you can make changes at any time by visiting www.dixie. coop.
By Phone
Payments can be made via our automated system. It is available 24 hours-a-day by calling 1-866-285-2359. You can check your balance or make a payment anytime using a credit or debit card, or an e-check.
Ask About e-bill!
Given the recent changes in the postal system, e-bill is a convenient alternative allowing you to view your statement online as soon as it is available. You can sign up for e-bill through the customer service portal on our website or by contacting our office.

Online and Mobile App
You can conveniently pay your bill by credit/debit or e-check and keep track of your account anywhere with 24/7 account access via www.dixie.coop or through our mobile app. It’s free and can be found by searching “Dixie Electric Cooperative” in your app store.
Bank draft
Bank draft gives the convenience of paying your bill without having to write a check. Download a bank draft form and submit it to us with a voided check. Your payment will be drafted automatically each month.
In Office
We have two convenient, full service locations to meet the needs of our member-owners. Both office locations offer drive-thru services as well as drop off and night deposit payments. Member service representatives are available to assist you at both locations.
