Day 1 Temuco – Pucón
Your journey begins in the Araucanía Region in the South of Chile. Transfer from the airport of Temuco to Pucón. The town on the shores of Villarrica Lake is the region’s most important tourist hub for outdoor enthusiasts. The rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2 Horse Ride Through Araucanía
Today you explore the beautiful scenery of the area on horseback. The small-group tour starts at the horse farm Antilco, where you can participate in a short introduction to riding and saddling. No previous experience is required, the horses are sure-footed and tame. The ride takes you through the untouched landscapes of the indigenous Mapuche community Quelhue. (B, BL)
Day 3 Summit Hike Villarrica Volcano/Hike In Huerquehue National Park + Hot Springs
Your day starts before sunrise, when transfer and ski lift take you to the trailhead from where the ascent begins. The last meters require the use ice axes and crampons. Yet the effort is worth it once you enjoy the panoramic views from the top. You arrive back to Pucón in the afternoon. End the day in the rustic natural hot springs Los Pozones. After two action-loaded days, there is no better place to relax body and soul under the starry sky. (B)
Day 4 Pucón – Puerto Varas
Travel south to the Lake Region on a comfortable, several-hour bus journey. Your destination is Puerto Varas. The rest of the day is at leisure. (B)
Day 5 Rafting On Petrohué River & Vicente Peréz Rosales National Park
Let the powerful Petrohué River take you through untouched primeval landscapes on today’s rafting adventure. At the rafting center you are briefed about safety regulations and receive the necessary equipment. The total distance of the trip is 13 km (8 mi). (B, BL)
Day 6 Full Day Kayak Trip In Reloncaví Fjord
Today you travel by kayak to discover the nearby Pacific fjord Reloncaví.The nearby natural hot springs at the mouth of Petrohué River allow for a relaxing bathing break. The tour continues with great views of the volcanoes Yates and Hornopirén, while a large variety of birds accompanies you. Lunch is taken on a local farm. Afterwards continue to the village of Cochamó; if the tide permits, you might continue further south from here. A transfer takes you back to Puerto Varas in the afternoon. (B, L )
Day 7 Departure
This action-packed week ends today with a transfer to the airport or bus station in Puerto Montt. (B)
