Day 1 Punta Arenas – Nearby Estancia

Pick up your rental car at the airport and drive to a nearby estancia where you spend the night. On the way, take in views of the Magellan Strait, considered the most important natural passage between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.

Day 2 Punta Arenas – Torres Del Paine

Drive north until you reach the Torres del Paine National Park. On the way, you are likely to observe guanacos, the camel’s Patagonian relatives. Tonight, you stay on a traditional sheep farm at the edge of the national park. (B)

Day 3 Torres Del Paine

The day is at your disposal for the exploration of Torres del Paine National Park, without a doubt a highlight of your visit. (B) until you reach the traditional Patagonian Estancia where you stay tonight. This is a good opportunity to learn about sheep breeding in Patagonia and the historical development of South America’s southernmost region. (B)

Day 5 Laguna Blanca – Cerro Sombrero

A ferry crosses the Magellan Strait to the small town of Cerro Sombrero. Tierra del Fuego consists mainly of pampa; nevertheless, a colony of King penguins has settled here some years ago. You should not miss the opportunity to visit the park. (B)

Day 6 Cerro Sombrero – Punta Arenas

Return to Punta Arenas today. This city at the end of the world has lived through an eventful history, which can be discovered in the historic center and in various museums, as well as during a visit of the former stronghold Fort Bulnes. (B)

Day 7: Punta Arenas – Airport

Drive back to Punta Arenas Airport and drop off your rental car. (B)
