“Peace is like the wind it sweeps away all the things that we don't need or want. Clutter is something we bring into our lives - it takes time to clear - just as the seasons take time to change.”

So whether you are someone just in the throes of your spirituality opening up for you, or you are regarded as an expert in your chosen field we’d love to hear from you, so others may benefit from your experiences and wisdom.
Welcome! This is the inaugural edition of inSpirit Magazine. inSpirit came about while on holiday in QLD last year. Having visited Australia Zoo with my family, I was inspired by their community magazine called Crikey! What a great way to allow others to be part of your community when geographical locations pose restrictions. What I hope you find between these pages is a forum where we can all share in the wisdom and inspiration of Spirit, as we all enjoy the journey and experience of Living with Spirit. To my surprise, my own journey has been one of mystical occurrences coupled with challenging periods of self reflection.

ANTHONY GRZELKA MEDIUM DOWNUNDER When it comes to Mediumship in Australia, all too often we look to quickly to the well known international mediums such as John Edward. Well, Australia is quickly producing our own equally talented mediums and one in particular, Anthony Grzelka is leading the way. Anthony grew up in Collie, WA and is now based in Bunbury. He has been working as a professional medium for the last 5years with his workshops and seminars throughout Australia regularly sold out. Here, we are grateful that Anthony took some time out of his busy schedule to talk with Kerrie Wearing.
Your website WhispersfromBeyond.com.au says that you first became aware of your mediumship abilities at the tender age of 5 while making sandcastles in the backyard sandpit. From then, it seems that your connection to Spirit became quite an integral part of your life, albeit a very private part of yourself. It seemed quite natural for you to be able to differentiate your thoughts from those of Spirit, at such a young age. Why do you think that was? That is so hard to explain. I just knew. It was like there was this separation between myself & the voices. They sounded different and at a distance, like they were further away. So really, separation and distance. Often their thoughts would appear in my head before I even had a chance to think something of my own. I would also experience different emotions to that of my own, for example I might have been feeling down but would experience a happiness and joy coming in, and knew that this wasn’t how I was feeling. I just knew and it all just came about naturally. What advice would you offer children, or any one for that matter who may be encountering similar experiences? Well that’s really up to the adults to identify that their child is a little different. Well not so different just a little more sensitive. They usually are a little scared about it all to, so help them not to be scared, and read as much as you can. Education is really important, but try not to over think it, just allow it to happen. Work with it and get a dialogue happening as best as you can. Knowledge is the best thing.
Please tell us about one of your more experiences and the lasting effect it has had.

Oh! There are so many. The one that does stand out for me though is a soul talking reading. This young girl of 25, who had developed her disabilities after her immunisations, looked like she was 10. Through my connecting with her she was able to tell her Mum and Dad, Happy Birthday. Both of their birthdays were the next week, two days apart, and for the 25years they had cared for their daughter, this was the first time she had been able to communicate it. *Anthony is able to communicate with people who’s ability to communicate is severely incapacitated in some way. Through his SoulSoul-Talking process he is able to connect with everyone from disabled or Autistic children to those affected by strokes or even people in a coma. Do you believe that your insights into this area will allow us Page 4
to unlock some of the secrets behind such diseases and disabilities? I’d have to say no to that. When communicating they don’t focus on the disease. What their trying to say is while I can’t talk & respond all the time, I can still understand and hear you. They don’t talk about how it happened. What Soul talking can do is help to improve the quality of life for the patient. Their able to communicate that they are uncomfortable or have a bladder infection for example.

Anthony has kindly donated 2 copies of Medium Down Under for inSpirit to give away to those that subscribe to our mailing list during the month of March.
Working as a professional medium for 5years, what would you say is one of the toughest aspects of this work? And how do you overcome this?
Whispers From Beyond
It’s the brow beating and non acceptance of the work. You can deal with a sceptic, but it’s the cynics which are hard to work with. People can’t walk away from what’s right in front of them.
Phone: (08) 9724 1881
How do you overcome it? Being true to yourself and trying to focus on the positives. It’s important to keep grounded and remember nothing is ever bigger than the work.

You’ve recently released your first book Medium Down Under, please tell us a little about it. It’s about my work and being a medium in Australia, a biography with insights into my understandings on topics like suicide and the afterlife. I also have a new book being published in August which is a healing book and how those in Spirit can help you to recover from grief. For the last couple of years, you have been very busy travelling Australia with your seminars and workshops, What can we expect from you in 2008? More seminars and workshops in Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane. I’m also doing a joint event with Scott RussellHill called The Psychic & the Medium. This is a 3-3½hour event where Scott demonstrates his psychic abilities, then I demonstrate Mediumship and finally we come together at the end. In addition to this, there is the book I mentioned and hopefully some Television. A full year! Well Thankyou Anthony, for your time & insights. We hope to see you in Sydney soon. Anthony is a wonderful medium, doing some great work bringing Spirit into people lives everyday. Here at inSpirit we highly recommend getting along to one of Anthony’s events if you can. You’ll find us there for sure.

PAST LIVES BY ANDREW NIGHTSCALE S Past lives” is a topic that most people already have an opinion about. Each person’s understanding is different to the next, some don’t believe that they exist, yet others believe that they can recall past life experiences. Many even feel that past lives are a major influence over why and who they are today. The term “past lives” obviously refers to lives that we have lived prior to this one, doesn’t it? Many questions come to mind when I think of my own experiences concerning past lives. Was I a Knight who lived and died in the 15th century, only to wait for three centuries and simply return in the 18th and again in the 20th centuries? Did I choose to return or was I involuntarily returned to this time and location by a higher power, such as God? Who are spirit guides, why do we have them and how could they possibly relate to our past lives? What is a soul group? Why do we need to return to the physical plain to live life over and over again? The answer to each of these questions is a book waiting to be written. In writing this article, however, I see my role as passing on to you, a basic understanding of my ideas and beliefs. I am certain that I share beliefs with many when I say that the purpose of our life here on earth is so that the soul can learn. The desire of our higher self is to become one with God and life is the tool that can allow this to happen. Each life provides us with a classroom in which your higher self can gain all of the knowledge and understanding required to achieve this. Multiple lives provide the higher self with multiple classrooms. The higher self consists of energy that we leave in the spiritual world. When we return to life on earth, we take with us, use and are aware of, a small amount of this energy; this is our soul. While the higher self has limited input into the decisions we make while on the earth plane (as we all have a conscience – different to
our soul), I believe that our higher self has our life’s lessons mapped out prior to our birth. The higher self doesn’t specify how these lessons must be learnt - that is left to the soul. Our higher self oversees everything we do in life including our learning, analysing and remembering. It is on a scale far beyond our ability to comprehend on a conscious level. I would liken it to a double layered sponge cake. If you were to cut it up and pass the top layer of each piece around, you would still be left with a half portion (bottom layer) of each piece. I would liken this bottom layer to your higher self and each piece of cake handed out is one soul/life. It is essential that you are able to understand my concept of time. It is one of the most important influences over activities of the human body and soul. We structure our entire life around time, it dictates everything from birth to death and everything in between, but what happens beyond life? I believe that our existence is eternal. Time has no influence on the existence of our higher self. Time is simply a reference point for our return to life on earth. This concept forced me to question my understanding/ beliefs in past lives. I believe that our limited understanding of spirit and the other side/“heaven” limits our understanding of time and its importance to our complete existence. Once upon a time I likened life to a ladder. I believed that you chose a ladder to climb. You start life at the bottom and climb until you reach the top, each step was a lesson, and each ladder was a life. I believed that you were reborn (reincarnated) at a new ladder higher up. I thought of a past life as a ladder that we had already climbed sometime before. It was suggested to me that time isn’t a restriction outside of life, instead, we focus on the knowledge we must gain to become one with God. The concept of a timeless existence made me question my perspective on past
lives. If time doesn’t exist, how could it be a past life? I now believe in what I will call “alternate lives” rather than “past lives”. In many ways they still have the same purpose; however, the model has now changed. It goes like this: Imagine a footpath that is lined with many (billions) of paving bricks. The bricks are laid out in chronological order (representing life’s dependence on time.) I believe that the order in which we live alternate lives isn’t restricted the way that each life is restricted by time. In fact, your higher self could potentially choose any life (paver) in any location within this path. You may have more than one life in existence here in 2008, or while you are here in 2008, your higher self may even have other lives taking place at this moment in other places and other centuries. The higher self would choose the best time and place to live according to the range of lessons the soul must learn. How is this possible? Just like place, time is a dimension of life, a restriction that places our life into a specific context and even specifies when it should end. You know what you have done on your journey through life and you may know where you want to go, but, if you faced these challenges 50 years earlier, how would this journey change and its achievements differ? We have no real understanding beyond the knowledge that life would be very different and so too its lessons. I want you to think about the importance of teamwork in your everyday life such as family, work and recreation. It is commonly accepted that effective teams improve overall performance outcomes. I believe that our dependence on and cohesion with our spirit guides are no different. For us to get the most of each challenge we face in life, we must work cohesively on either a conscious or subconscious level with our spirit guides. They are souls that work closely with you on a spiritual level to Page 8
PAST LIVES Cont’d In life, loved ones take on a role that will help us to learn with them through experiences, from their life experiences via knowledge that they pass on and advice that they offer. They are essential to our development on this level. learn and achieve from your physical challenges. I believe that spirit guides are part of your higher self. They are actually souls from alternate lives, currently in different times and or different places all experiencing life and learning right now. While I say this, it is possible that these souls are living amongst each other, however, it would generally be more beneficial for each of the souls to be within a totally different context. Many people say that loved ones become their guides once they pass on. I agree, but believe that this would be considered an honorary role unless that person is from the same master guide. Loved ones would generally take on the role by choice and act as a guide from the other side. They wouldn’t be able to act as a spirit guide while on the physical plan.
Your higher self/master guide is a single entity that is able to divide itself into a large number of souls (team members). Similar to a coach, it oversees all alternate lives, learning from each and every experience. It is the master guide, it gains the knowledge that each soul learns, experiences each action and enables communication between each soul to pass on guidance. Each master guide was created by God, a slice of cake from the source of universal energy. From creation, master guides have the need to learn the knowledge that will enable them to become one with God.
Spirit plays an important role in defining the depth of our understanding in topics such as these. My philosophy is simple; if our master guide feels that we should know something in particular, we will be given the opportunity to learn it. If the master guide/higher self feels that certain knowledge isn’t constructive to our development, we won’t. This is one particular reason why peoples’ understanding of past lives/alternate lives are different. A complex understanding doesn’t always benefit the individual. I believe that no one person will ever possess all answers to topics such as this. For each question we receive an answer to, several more questions are created. I hope that you have enjoyed reading about my perspective on past lives and hope that it has started you thinking about your own. Who knows, this process may even help you on your journey to be one with God. by Andrew Nightscales
I have all that I need to survive comfortably and complete. Love, shelter, warmth & food. I accept all that is in my past as it has made me who i am today. I accept who I am and all that I am With love and compassion for myself, and all who are around me. I have the confidence in myself to share to the world just who I am, the way I am. And the ability to see beauty in everything. And the confidence to embrace it all and step forward. icole Psaroudis

I hope that what Anna has to say may give some of you the courage you need to begin your own journey and to be the person you want to be. “Firstly I want to congratulate you on being recognised as ACOM Medium of The Year and also to congratulate you on your new role teaching at ACOM. It has been a great year for you. How did you feel when it was announced that you were the Australian College of Mediumship Medium of The Year?” [laughing] “My first reaction was shock and with that a non-spiritual word came out! All in all it was an incredible feeling of excitement that my peers had acknowledged my growth.” “So who is Anna Pelle?” “Who is Anna Pelle? Wow, where do I start! I am an Australian born Italian Catholic raised by the most supportive parents one could only wish for. I have a best friend and sister all rolled into one; she is married with three beautiful children whom I live and breathe for. I am like anyone else on the journey through life discovering who I am and what my life purpose is

It has taken sometime and the help from extremely supportive and committed classmates who are now very dear friends of mine. So by clearing all that pain around my heart I am now able to receive clearer messages that come from the heart.” “What inspires you?”
How have you grown at the College ?” “Since being at the College I have grown in so many ways! I have become more open to understanding those around me. I have a greater understanding of who I am and what I am meant to do here on Earth. Most of all I have learnt how to access the answers to all those questions I have asked myself and searched for so many years. At the moment my strongest senses are clairvoyance and clairsentience.” “What changes have occurred for you this year in your mediumship?” “I could not pin point one thing as everything in my life has changed in on e way or an oth er . My mediumship development has had a ripple effect of change in my whole life.” “Doing this kind of work do you find it hard to switch off from the information that comes through to you?” “No, I don’t find it hard when I actually mentally switch off, however I don’t want to switch off half the time as I love Spirit’s work so much, I want to share with everyone.” “H ow has this journey and d evel op men t in mediu mshi p
“Initially it was very hard. I felt I was not able to come home and share my experiences that I had in class out of fear but it got to a stage that it was impossible to hold back. I had so many messages to pass on from grand-parents and other loved on e s th a t l ef t my f a mi l y gob-smacked. My parents are now open to my mediumship. In fact my mum now shares her experiences of Spirit with me, even if it was once frowned upon to speak of.” “What is the most rewarding experience you have had so far as a medium?” “The most rewarding experience I have had is being able to bring through a baby girl who passed at birth and confirm to her mother that the weight she felt on her legs in bed at night was her daughter hopping in the bed with her. The mother had suffered for so long not being able to come to terms with the idea that her baby was no with
her. She is now comforted by the fact that her baby had never left her at all.” “What challenges are you looking forward to tackling this year?” “The challenge I am looking forward to this year is teaching. I look forward to sharing each person’s journey and further developing them to their full potential.” “ Where do you see yourself 10 years from now?” “Where do I see myself in 10 years? If I have learnt one thing out of my development it’s to live for the now, embrace the present and make everything count in the now. So whatever it is that I will be doing 10 years from now I will be HAPPY. What more could I ask for?” “Thank you Anna for allowing us to gain insight into why your journey started and how it has helped you grow. We wish you all the best for the years ahead and are sure you will continue to inspire those around you.”
The difference between memory and knowing is the pain we feel. A memory of someone who has passed into spirit is a memory because you feel the pain of loss. If you were too small to remember, then told of someone who had passed into spirit it becomes a knowing, (without felt pain.). Both can be seen, heard and felt.. A knowing makes it easier, it is clearer than a memory because there is no felt pain.

THE WOUND THAT WON’T HEAL BY JANNE HENNE
How do we maintain calm, positivity and optimism when we have taken a blow that we feel we may never rise from? How do we take comfort when words of kindness seem well-meant but just don’t seem to apply to how we feel? What if our heart keeps telling us it may never be “all right”? How do we heal the wound that won’t heal? There are many walking wounded among us. Some we may recognize on sight. They wear their wound like a badge of courage. In times those wounds may usurp their identity and come to define them. Some are not so easily spotted. They keep their wound hidden even from those who they believe know them well. And there are those who would never admit under any circumstances to ever having been wounded at all. Who are these wounded people? They may be you or I. They are the homeless ones and those afflicted by guilt. They are those, who seek refuge in a bottle or from a needle. They are those, who seek comfort where none is to be found. They are those, who seek to bring comfort to those who will reject it. They are the Peacemakers and they are those who make war. They are the humbled and they are the arrogant. They are the healer and those who despair that healing can be found. They are the weak and they are the strong. They are you and I. For many of us, the worst pain that can be imagined is the death of a loved one and yes, I know this is pain beyond description. Yet if we know that life does not really end, there is comfort to be found, though indeed it takes
time to move beyond our grief and accept the rude parting. I too, have loved ones who have “moved to another room” beyond my sight, but now I know, they are not really so far from me. I take heart that love still connects us and love does not die. They may speak to us in our dreams, through another person or directly to our hearts. Just be still and listen. They are close by. To those who live each day with fear of what may happen, happen who are living with uncertainty, afraid to hope or to dream of happy endings. To those of you who have no closure, to whom the words, “where there is life there is hope,” ring hollow. It is to you I bring this message. You know who you are. Each time you move towards healing, does it seem like something comes along to rip away the scar tissue leaving you exposed? As the sun casts its warming rays into your world you fear to embrace it, chilled in anticipation of the dark clouds you are certain must follow. Amongst friends or strangers and beginning to relax, you may suddenly imagine a neon sign flashing on your forehead declaring for all to see, “Caution! Damaged goods!” Is this too fanciful? Do I express it too strongly? I am one of you. I walk with the “stone in my shoe” and have felt “the brick on my heart” and at times I stumble, at others I li mp. Yet incr ea singly, unbelievably, there are times I almost forget it is there and let myself dance and yes, even sometimes, sing – and laugh. You can too. Yes, you! Your stone may be sharper than mine, your brick may be heavier on your breast and you can’t deny it. Then
don’t. Accept it. It is there … but you are stronger than you know. You can move forward and you are not alone. Will these words I now offer bring you a complete healing of your wound? I do not promise that, but use them anyway. Apply them like an ointment, liberally whenever pain strikes. Allow them to soothe and caress and penetrate to your heart. These words are not my own, but were given to me by Spirit: a Gift when one was needed. A Gift: not for me to hug to myself, but to offer to any who will accept and share it. Today I offer it to you. Tomorrow you may share it with another, but just for now, in this moment, this gift is for you alone.
With love, Janne.

ORB FACTS BY ATTILA KALDY There has been much debate about th e r epr esen ta tion of orb s, especially after the introduction of digital technology. They come in different colours, sizes and some even appear to take on some very peculiar characteristics. They can appear at random in video footage and still imagery. The more flamboyant explanation suggests that ‘orbs’ are the pre-manifestation of spirits prior to materialisation. This is more of an anecdotal theory. In order to take an objective approach, one must r u l e o u t a l l c on v en ti on a l possibilities before leaning towards the unexplained. There are known cases and documentations of phenomena that fit in that category, but seldom do they appear. In my experience as a paranormal researcher, at least 95% of orb documentations are explained in conventional terms. Some of the more popular orb effects are created by airborne particles such as dust or fabric. This occurs when the contaminant is within the range of the camera’s depth of field, making it out of focus thus producing an orb-like effect. It is also worth noting that cameras are infrared sensitive (especially video cameras operating on night mode) and will pick up reflection or refraction in that spectrum. Other optical effects are on images taken near reflective surfaces, or near direct sunlight. The orb that is created in this instance is caused by lens flare (or even camera interior structure reflection).
Lens flare can also enhance minute contamination on the lens itself (dust, dew, hair, compromised lens), producing fuzzy orb-like spots. Some p oor q uali ty digi tal ca mera s occasionally have pixel drop out during photography. The unit then attempts to compensate for the fault (digi tal overcomp en sa ti on) by producing pixels of random colour. This will appear as some kind of circular artefact. We have all seen video footage in night mode of orb like anomalies moving hastily around the cameraman, changing course

These are some of the more common forms of conventional explanations. At closer inspection, some orb photography present (see example) unusual patterns – some even seem to represent faces or other bizarre figures (even occult like). This is an occurrence that falls under the ca teg or y of a p sych ol ogi cal phenomenon, called pareidolia. The

No matter how much we want a phenomenon to be extraordinary, we must first take a rationalist approach. It is only when we have ruled out all natural explanations, that we may begin to cite the extraordinary. Page 13
BERRIMA’S JOHN LYNCH & ACOM BY KYLI E BAXTER & KERRIE W EARING
Not long after establishing the College in 2006, Spirit had asked that I include a “Ghost tour” as part of the curriculum, to expose our developing mediums to different types of Spiritual energies. Initially I only expected the students to learn how the different types of energies feel and for us to have a bit of fun. One of our students, Kylie, was a regular tour participant at Berrima gaol, which was known for its paranormal activity, so I suggested we organise a visit. Even I wasn’t prepared for what unfolded in the ensuing months. Although as usual, it was Spirit’s plan all along. As the night approached, the gaol decided that very day to stop running tours altogether, even though this had been arranged and paid for well in advance. In hindsight, this was Spirit protecting us. While the night was organised to break down some fear, as Spirit was by now sharing this with me, they didn’t want anything to happen which would reinforce someone’s fear. So we eventually went along, spent some time around the gaol as well as visiting other hot spots on the way. It had been established that John Lynch lived at the gaol by a paranormal investigative team through a series of events such as objects being moved, people being sick, with one young lady on a tour reportedly nearly fainting. They even had some EVP recordings which we heard on our tour. Through the activities of conscious tapping the PI team had managed to establish his identity as John Lynch. Who is documented as Berrima’s serial killer who was hung in 1842 at the gaol for 10 murders. The rest of the account, I’ll leave for Kylie to tell you. you I had never been to the Berrima Court House. I wasn’t familiar with its history, and that of the town and its infamous serial killer: John Lynch. along with Lucretia Dunkley and her lover Martin Beech who were both hanged in 1843 for the murder of Dunkley’s husband. Dunkley was the only woman hanged at Berrima gaol. John was hung in 1842 after he confessed to murdering ten people, though some have and will beg to differ on that number. He made his presence known to a group of paranormal investigators quite some time after the investigations and tours had begun at the courthouse. Unfortunately I was not a witness to his first communications or the process in which the group established that their communications were in fact with
the infamous Lynch. I have been told however that a series of questions had been asked and responded to with a tap: 1 tap for yes and 2 taps for no, as had previously been the case with other spirits that had visited this location and chosen to communicate this way. I have included the following “first encounter”- as I call it- with a tapper, in the hope that the sceptic in you might be silenced as it was in me when first experiencing the phenomenon called “tapping”. I was on a tour with the group one night and they had informed me that they had been hearing a tapping noise in various parts of the Courthouse, namely the male holding cell and that of the Judge’s chamber. anticipation, excitement and eagerness to actually get inside the courthouse that night was extremely out of the ordinary. As we had all previously become accustomed to its slamming doors, footsteps, cries, whispers and so on, rarely did the regulars including myself trip over each other to enter. This night however was entirely different. I first heard the noise in the mock court room, complete with a mannequin judge, members of the jury, barristers and criminals. The noise was faint but definitely there. I cannot put into words the amazement that I felt. The guide at the time had several tour participants that were yet to experience the courthouse so she was trying to inform them of the history of the place while this tapping kept occurring. The guide seemed to be getting annoyed or scared with this and asked whoever was doing it to stop. The noise stopped for a minute and then mid sentence it would start back up again.

With all torches off and no one making a sound the tapping began again. The guide, a little annoyed but trying to maintain a reasonable demeanour, decided to inform the new tour participants of the tapping that had been occurring on her last few visits to the courthouse. She was happy to answer their questions and even asked the spirit at the request of the new tour members to stop tapping when she asked and to start tapping when prompted. The spirit was more than happy to oblige, and needless to say the regulars including myself where dumbfounded at the response. Later that evening we were in the Judge’s chamber and the guide was informing the tour participants of the happenings in this room, when the tapping started again. At this point the guide got quite upset and asked once again, “Whoever is doing that, please go away”. At that point I felt I had to do something. Here I was encountering the kind of phenomenon some people only dream of experiencing and I wasn’t about to let the guide chase them away, so I suggested that we try to communicate with the tapper by asking questions and getting them to tap once for yes and twice for no. The guide reluctantly agreed but stipulated that I should ask the questions. After several minutes of this type of communication the guide switched on her torch and asked everyone to keep their feet elevated from the ground, then proceeded to ask the spirit to tap 5 times. Armed with her torch and watching everyone intently the guide was unconvinced. it seemed the noise was audible and that she couldn’t deny, but when the spirit started to respond to my questions she found this very difficult to believe. We were all asked to turn on our torches and to watch each other as the guide asked the taper to tap 5 times again. Her disbelief was quite astonishing to all of us but humorous none the less and we all left the courthouse that night reluctantly and totally exhilarated. To this day some of the regular tour participants and members of the paranormal investigative team still believe that John Lynch learned to tap from a particular spirit, William Hall or a spirit that I never encountered by the name of Andrew. I will say though, during our chats with William, at different times, the tapping would become so
faint you could barely hear it. This we would later learn was because William was afraid of another spirit and he would not be allowed to communicate with us whilst that spirit was around. I can’t say for sure if that spirit was John Lynch but after having had many encounters with Lynch at many different locations, and baring witness to numerous tour participants’ sudden bouts of nausea and after listening to some very angry electronic voice phenomenon recordings I would not be surprised if Lynch was able to intimidate a much lesser energy. This went on for quite some time: the tapping would occur every single time the tour guide would go there. Through many investigations it was found the tapping almost always only occurred when the actual tour guide herself was in the room. I say almost because I, along with one other person, heard the tapping whilst the tour guide was in another part of the court house. In my case the guide was inside a room in the court house and I was on the step at the entrance door to the courthouse and I heard tapping. I have heard that tapping sound outside on the grass on the grounds surrounding the court house; I have heard the tapping outside the Gaol and down the road from the courthouse. I was a guest in an investigation into paranormal activity in a house down in Canberra and the tapper “John Lynch” showed up there. I have been in a graveyard and heard him tapping right near the grave sites of several of his victims and he was tapping like crazy. I have been at the Picton tunnel and he has shown up there. He was just everywhere. Unfortunately the actual tour guide found herself and her life going downhill as a result of this negative energy following her. I recall the guide saying to me on several occasions, that someone always seemed to feel sick when he was around. The last two times that I visited the Berrima Court House were two of the most frightening moments of any paranormal investigation that I had or have been on and are another story in themselves. From the second last visit I too would became quite nauseous when Lynch was around. To be continued….. Page 15
YOU TOO ARE A MEDIUM.
Unravel the mysteries behind your own psychic & mediumship development as Medium and Founder of The Australian College of Mediumship, Kerrie Wearing steps you through it each issue and answers your questions.
The ability to communicate with the Spirit world, or, as we know it, Mediumship is often thought of as something that only those with a special gift can achieve. It seems for many that unless you have been seeing and hearing Spirit since you were a child, developing your own abilities in this way is almost an unreachable feat. Certainly, these abilities appear stronger in some more so than others, just as some of us are better at Maths than others. However, as children we are so much more perceptive of all that is around us. So whether it is the energies of Spirit, the energies of other people’s emotions or our own, as children we are so much more aware and sensitive to all of it. However, as most of us are without family or friends who are able to help us discern the difference and teach us to articulate and express it, we are usually left with the option of disconnecting from this side of ourselves, suppressing that which we don’t understand and just moving forward.
quantified as psychic by nature; however, with my understanding now as a teacher, I could say undeniably that I was a sensitive child, easily in tune with the emotions of others, but never knowing or being taught that these emotions weren’t mine. Spirit has also shared over time that I could hear (Clairaudience) the spirit world; so these two latent psychic abilities, left unattended to, often led to a great deal of confusion for me. These days with the number of people I see learning to develop their own abilities I truly believe we are all born with psychic abilities, lying dor mant, ju st waitin g to be reawakened. Over the coming months, in this new and exciting column, together we’ll work towards unravelling many of the mysteries behind developing your own psychic abilities, as we cover su ch topi cs as th e 3C’s – C l a i r vo ya n c e, C l a i r a u d i e n c e, Clairsentience; your intuition; what makes a good communication; the difference b etween a psychic connection and mediumship and the importance of raising your vibration. So let’s start with the difference between a psychic and a medium. There is a turn of phrase which is often used, “All Mediums are psychic but not all psychics are mediums”. This is essentially saying that all mediums have their psychic faculties alive & kicking, like all psychics. The difference, however, is the medium’s ability to tune in and communicate with the Spirit World.
the confusion of who you are and the directions your life may take. Therefore being able to assist by offering guidance and assistance of a predictive nature. On the other hand, a medium’s work will focus on dealing with the afterlife, assisting you in your grief and working towards proving that there is no death, only a transition and continued journey. Both the psychic and the medium have their place, as we all find life’s journey turning up differ ent challenges, at times, which require different tools and understandings to assist us along the path we walk. Until next issue, with love

Hello Kerrie, I really don't know what I am seeking via this email because i know the answers i am searching for are already here with me, but it is hard to confirm my thoughts on medium ability with a society of sceptics trying to prove otherwise! At the age of three i was scalded by boiling water, on the way to hospital in the ambulance i was comforted by two or three (losing this memory) old men surrounding me. It wasn't until i was about 12, i asked my mum why there were so many people in the ambulance, she replied "It must of been the gas love, it was just me in there with you!" "I know what i saw" i said to mum and that was where it was left. I have always been good at remembering my dreams, later in my 20's I am now experiencing my dreams more intensely. I am aware that my dreams are there for interpretation of my subconscious mind, however occasionally and in particular a common theme to random dreams are creating a notion that i may be experiencing medium provoked dreams. To the point, over the past four months I have helped 2 strangers pass over! The first dream I was standing over a woman who was very sick, she was sleeping next to her husband, she wanted me to help her feel warm so she stepped out of bed and i wrapped her in her dressing gown and we proceeded to walk together, instantly I knew at that moment she had died because she was then standing in such a large open space of white fog, her family in the near distance standing behind
her in a pyramid, starting with her most loved, but all people who she'd touched their lives, I could feel their mourning and sadness for her. I could also feel her burden and coldness before she died. As her family stand mourning her, she stands reading a book of all moments in her life it is if she must deal with and recognise these moments before she is to proceed. This dream is still so strong in my mind. Last night In my dream I found my self walking into a funeral home, feeling a little lost but i was guided to a particular room, a feeling of a task was required of me. As I walked in a funeral was almost at an end, I did not recognise the people at the funeral nor the deceased woman laying in the open casket. To the left of me behind all of the guests seated was an elderly man standing with beautiful silver hair and smiling, he looked so happy. He winked at me like he was expecting me and we stood together and waited, no questions asked. Next all the guests were invisible i could not see any one except the man i was standing with and the woman in her coffin, she sits up like she has just awoken from a sleep, she too with beautiful silver hair and smiling so contently. She walks over to myself and the man and we go out side. A conversation is initiated by my self. I say to the woman "would you like to go home together" The man interrupts and says "no, I am here because i promised her I would greet her when her time came, she will know where to go but i have other things to do" Then he says to me "I needed you to help me home" They exchange love and the woman turns away and walks in the other direction. The man and I walk in the other and
then he is gone and i wake up! Two dreams with similar outcomes but very different. The first dream I experienced a lot of emotions, from the dying woman and from the grieving family, I could tell this woman was sad and tired. The second dream felt much different in which there was more understanding rather than emotions other than the love i felt between the husband and wife. I did however feel confused why they would not want to be together in death but I am only assuming they were husband and wife, and who am i to question life after death! I was even aware of the personalities of each person in the dreams. The woman in the first dream was very shy and timid like i had to hold her hand every step of the way, she had burdened her family for so long even the help she required from me made her felt guilty in some way. The man in the second dream was a bit of a joker a real ladies man. In his presence i felt happy and wanted to laugh. The woman too had no hang ups and was happy and confident in doing what she needed to do, if they weren't husband and wife then they were definitely brother and sister, because they had similar features and personalities. The first dream made me feel sad for a few days thinking about this woman. The second dream was much easier to deal with, I smile every time I think about it. I really see no messages in these dreams, just that i am becoming more familiar with what is happening around me during the dreams. I would really appreciate some feed back from my ema il , a n y commen ts or suggestions! Cont’d

Recently, I’ve encountered a “coincidence” where I heard a special song on the radio which connects me to an old boyfriend, only to then run into him a few days later after 8 years. This type of thing happens every so often especially when I am feeling emotional. Can you offer some guidance as to what this is or why it happens? Sandra WA
Dear Megan, I'm honoured you took the time to share these with me. Dreams are certainly one of the first areas that Spirit will make contact with us, especially if they know we are a little tentative about it. As you are aware being a medium comes in many forms and Spirit will take your offers of help in whatever way it may manifest.
Do you have a question? InSpirit Magazine
Sandra, Sandra there are two explanations for this type of occurrence. Firstly, it can be your own psychic abilities working to prepare you for what is around the corner. The song reminds you of your boyfriend, so when you do run into him, it’s a little easier to take. Other times, it can be a sign from your loved ones in Spirit, just trying to let you know they are still with you. In this instance the song would most likely relate to your loved one. Either way, it’s a blessing so continue to acknowledge each on as this helps you to increase your awareness.

Just be a little on notice for when they start to make themselves known in your waking consciousness, this I feel is not to far off and will be when you should start to think about learning about your mediumship a little more seriously, such as attending a development circle.
