The Institut français du Nigéria, through its different courses and artistic programmes,
welcomes dialogue as well as cultural and linguistic exchanges.
Our upcoming line-up of cultural programs will give you many opportunities to get
familiar with the French language and French culture: the annual Francophonie
Festival in March, the 4th edition of “Good France” which celebrates the excellence
of French cuisine, the second edition of the animated movie workshop organized
in partnership with the Goethe-Institut for the benefit of Nigerian studios and
stakeholders and many more.
This year’s cultural programme will highlight debate. Three internationally renowned
French researchers (Thomas Piketty, Patrick Weil, and Julia Cagé) will come to give a
series of lectures in Nigeria.
Last, but not least, June will be the month of music with “The world music day” and
this year, for the first time, will be an open mic for Nigerian groups.
