The current company organization dates back to when Franklin Electric acquired Coverco's activities, in 2002, therefore absorbing over 30 years of experience which had made Coverco a leader in the production of electric motors. Our more than 4 million motors have taken water to the most remote places on the planet. Located in Motta di Livenza, Italy, Coverco plays a key role in the strategy of electric motors distribution and supply in the Mediterranean area, as well as in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Australia. COVERCO RANGE OF MOTORS

Coverco's current range of submersible motors is comprised of two series of motors designed for coupling with submersible pumps employed for the pumping of water in deep wells. The most common applications of our motors are for the supply of drinkable water for government buildings and residential use, for the pumping of cooling water for industrial use, for irrigation water and for livestock drinking water supply. Coverco currently offers a range of high-quality motors at a competitive price, consisting of two different series: • rewindable 4" oil cooled motors, available in single-phase or three-phase versions; • rewindable 6" oil cooled motors, available in three-phase version only, with direct or star/triangle start. The complete line of 4” and 6” ranges from 0.37 kW to 30 kW and was designed for standard water with pH between 6.5 and 8.0.

Coverco 4” motors are built for dependable operation in 4" diameter or larger water wells. Oil-lubricated thrust and radial bearings enable maintenance-free operation.

COVERCO 4" MOTORS

Like their predecessors, Coverco's latest 4” submersible motors of the NBS4 series are rewindable and can work in wells with water temperature below 35°C and pH ranging from 6.5 to 8.0. The filling liquid is a dielectric fluid, the so-called “white oil”, approved by FDA and other pharmacological institutions all over the world. The coupling dimensions and the flange are in conformity with NEMA regulations, as these submersible motors are expressively designed to work together with submersible pumps (in deep wells) with the same coupling dimensions.

Power supply can be either three-phase or single-phase. The single-phase ranges from 0.37 kW (0.5 HP) to 3.7 kW (5 HP), while the three-phase range ranges from 0.37 kW (HP) to 7.5 kW (10 HP). Submersible motors are usually employed in vertical installations, but they can also be installed in a horizontal position after the approval of our technical office and a global evaluation of the required application. Coverco motors can be installed in 4â&#x20AC;? wells, for a maximum depth of 250 meters. Their rewindability is ensured by a design that makes disassembling and reassembling very easy.

COVERCO 6" MOTORS

The 6” submersible motors of the NBS6 series are rewindable and can work in wells with water temperature inferior to 35°C and pH between 6.5 and 8.0. PROTECTION AND RELIABILITY

In line with its spirit of constant product research, Coverco has completed its range with a series of control boxes that assist operations of its submersible motors while protecting them from environmental agents. The range offers basic protection with a series of single-phase units for PSC (permanent split capacitor) motors, from 0.37 kW (0.5 HP) up to 2.2 kW. Their price are attractive and there is also a version available with double capacitor for high starting torque (up to 3.7 kW). The range of products is completed by a series of three-phase control boxes from 2.2 kW (3 HP) to 7.5 kW (10 HP), mostly suitable for 4â&#x20AC;? motors. Upon request only and according to specific projects, it is possible to manufacture special control panels to assist the operation of Coverco 6â&#x20AC;? motors.
