MESSAGE FROM AGENDA MANAGERS Hello dear IC 2015 delegates! We are Chiba from Brazil and Dasha from Russia, your IC 2015 agenda managers. We are extremely excited to prepare a great IC journey for you with the whole AIESEC International team. By its nature, IC is a great life experience: 800 delegates from more than 100 countries and territories are coming together because we share one dream: we dream and work a lot to make Peace and Fulfillment of Humankind’s potential possible. IC is eye-opening, it’s an intense journey of learning – about the world, AIESEC and its place in the world, and about ourselves as well. IC 2015 is a very special IC. As generation 1516, we have the privilege and responsibility to give our best to achieve AIESEC 2015 and to co-create the next mid-term ambition of AIESEC: AIESEC 2020. The theme of this IC is transformation. Transformation is more than just a change – it is about keeping the essence and evolving everything around it to ensure that we live up to this essence. We believe that leadership is the fundamental solution to make the world a better place and according to the World Economic Forum lack of leadership is definitely a global issue – the world needs more value-driven leaders. We know what kind of leadership we want to develop and how to make it happen. The question is: are we living up to our promises in our everyday actions? How should we transform AIESEC in order to ensure that? We are the generation that is going to ask and find answers to these challenging questions, and we are the ones to act upon it. 1

MESSAGE FROM AGENDA MANAGERS How does an organization transform? Organization transforms when its people do. We want to ensure that this IC will be a transformational experience for you and provided spaces for that – when you can choose which workshops to attend and which learning to implement in your entity. Do not expect 1-2-3 instructions from this IC, but expect to co-create and contribute, and with this attitude IC will be a success for AIESEC. For the 2020 dreaming process make sure that you read 2020 booklet that is coming out this week and take a full ownership of the outcome – we did our best to ensure smooth and inclusive process, now it’s up to all of us, AIESECers to make sure that the outcome is great and will drive AIESEC to new achievements. About 2020 process: Are you excited to co-create our next milestone? We wanted to ensure that you are 100% clear on the AIESEC 2020 process during IC, that you feel comfortable to participate in it and able to contribute your best. This week expect a 2020 preparation booklet to come out and plan time to understand it and make sure that before IC you will make the research needed so that you are prepared for the process. Feel free to ask any questions to Dasha, AIVP Innovation (dariaa@ai.aiesec.org).

We can’t wait to see you all in one plenary (this whole gigantic world in only one room! Can you imagine it? Got goosebumps? We did as well!) and looking forward to have insightful conversations! AIESECly yours, IC2015 Agenda managers 2
