• Founded in 1948; independent, co-‐ed day school; instruction
in English from Pre K -‐ grade 12. Graduates receive a U.S. secondary school diploma; International Baccalaureate diploma also available. Accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and Council of International Schools. Memberships: European Council of International Schools, Central and Eastern European Schools Association, International Baccalaureate Organization, New England Association of Schools and Colleges, National Association for College Admission Counseling. Co-‐curricular activities include sports, Model United Nations, National Honor Society, Speech & Debate, cultural programs, community service, student government, drama productions, and other clubs. Service opportunities are limited. Non-‐selective in admissions and in IB Diploma enrollment.

• The total enrollment of the entire school is 820. Of the 265
students in the Upper School (grades 9-‐12) there are 55 in the Class of 2016, 85% of whom do not speak English as their first language. • Of the 265 Upper School students, 16% identify themselves as American, 16% as Czech, 7% as Korean, 7% as Russian, 3% as Dutch, Swedish, Chinese, Armenian and Canadian, and 2% as Indian, Kazak, Slovak, French, Vietnamese, and from the UK. The remaining 27% represent 29 other nationalities or combinations of nationalities.

Curriculum
• 180 instructional days; 2 semesters; grade reports issued each semester. • All academic courses are university preparatory level. • The International Baccalaureate Program is offered; 83% of 12th graders have chosen to pursue the full IB diploma.
Upper School Faculty
• 38 faculty members with an average of 19 years of teaching experience. All faculty members are university graduates. 79% hold advanced degrees. • Student to Teacher ration is 7:1; Average class size is 13.
• 12th grade students enrolled in IB courses are required to take the IB exams in May.
