March is Newcastle Fringe Festival month with a smorgasbord of diverse entertainment with something for everyone, including theatre, cabaret, burlesque, circus, music of every genre, a mini choir festival and even an international basketballer for the kids. Maitland will play host to the very first of such shows with Under the Southern Stars. Headlining the spectacular rock music concert series will be international acts Cheap Trick, Stone Temple Pilots and BUSH. Read more on page 14.
