WB42A + WB42B
Wall & Ceiling Battens continue to grow in popularity as an easy way to create a decorative enhancement to a room. The new Intrim Casa Trim WB42A+WB42B are a 2 piece timber batten designed to be used on either a ceiling or wall application. Providing an alternative for exposed beams or roof rafters, they turn a plain white ceiling into an architectural masterpiece. Continue the batten down the wall or use them exclusively on the wall. Your layout options mean you can create a bespoke finish for your client.

Order your Limited Edition Modern Mediterranean ‘Selections in a box’. Contains all the timber mouldings used by Three Birds Renovations for their House 15 Modern Mallorca project.
Available in one size:
WB42b is 122mm wide, and 25mm thick, WB42a is 135mm wide and 25mm thick. When installed the overall finished size of the 2 pieces together is 250mm.
Recommended spacing: Repeat each batten every 300-600mm equally spaced across the entire ceiling or wall

Tip 1
Install the narrow part of the two-piece moulding (WB42b) first and place the wider one (WB42a) over the top.
Tip 2
Intrim Intense grip adhesive has a very fast grip time (if you apply pressure for 30-60 seconds). So, you may minimise the number of nails required. You may like to test this when installing the first piece of moulding.

Select your preferred architrave size and skirting size. Standard home builds traditionally use a 66mm architrave and 90mm skirting. To make a statement, use 135mm, 185mm or larger skirting boards, and either 90mm or 135mm architraves.

Installation TIP: Fill any nail holes and lightly sand prior to painting. Do not fill the tongue and groove join between boards. This is to allow for movement between each board.
