IPSF PARO SEP Grant Dear members of our beloved Pan American Regional Office (PARO), it is an honor on behalf of the Regional Working Group (RWG) to open the call for the IPSF PARO SEP Grant 2019/2020. Our Regional Office will allocate funds to bring 1 (one) grant of 300 euros as a reimbursement to cover transportation expenses (Airplane, train and buses) for one pharmacy student who wishes to participate in the biggest IPSF programme. For applying to this grant you have to follow the next criteria: ● Being an active pharmacy student or recent graduate (until four years after getting the first pharmacy degree). ● Being a member of any PARO member organisation or a PARO Individual Member. ● Have an Application Form on the IPSF SEP database marked as ‘placed’ or ‘successful’ for the year 2019-2020. (This will be confirmed by the Student Exchange Committee) ● Curriculum vitae (maximum 2 pages/ the file no more than 100mb) ● Send a motivational video explaining your motives to apply for the grant (maximum 2 minutes) ● Fill the application form and submit all documents in the next link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfbSGLrVE1SSRWoQvEBd5xeI5G5IHVAFP_j ACq4CHwQFkVE9A/viewform?usp=sf_link The winner will be chosen according to the following criteria: ● Voting from the RWG, each of them give 1 point ● Status of the applicant’s country defined by the World Bank (World Bank Country and Lending Groups – World Bank Data) adding to the final score 4 points Low-income, 3 points Lower-middle-income, 2 points Upper-middle-income and 1 point High-income economies ● Application to the SEP inside PARO: 1 point, Application to the SEP outside PARO: 2 points ● After having successfully SEP, within two weeks completed the SEP, submit an article in format of the IPSF PARO Newsletter about your experience to chairperson@paro.ipsf.org (For further information visit: PARO Newsletter) ● All applicants should provide receipts of their travel expenses. Can be photos, electronic and/or physical receipts. (Note: if the expenses are lesser than the awarded grant, only the amount of actual expenses will be reimbursed)
If you meet all the requirements, applications will be accepted until June 30th, 2020. 23:59 (GMT+1). The winner will be announced a week after the end of the application period.
