Nursing Headquarters Taiwan’s care rate has been up to 1:15, which is twice the international standard 1:6. Complicated works and over working hours has seriously caused the burden of nurses whether physically or emotionally. This intelligent care system products includes the intelligence technology, not only become nurses helper, also could improve work efficiency, reduce the burden of work and reduce the nursing negligence.

After observing and organizing their tasks, we find out that nurses always make repetitive rounds every 2 hours which taking them much time.

Strategic Solutuins
Strategy 1: Assistant Nurses are required much attention and care inspite of trivial things involved in their jobs. More than that, they usually work overtime. Consequently, we believe that nurses deserve an assistant. Strategy 2: Saving Time After observing for couples months, we realized that nurses mostly spend time on the particular things such as taking temperature and keying in records. Therefore, we reoganize their works and plan to increace efficiency of the repetitions with technology. Strategy 3: Redesigning Medical Cart We are going to modify those disadvantages of medical cart since the detriments would lead to occupational hazard.
Ideation & concept development Testing & prototypes
Taking steps, functions and scenarios into account. Making divergent thinking first, then making convergent one.
Developed concept by 3D Mock-up
Rough Mock-Up Testing by rough mock-up. Verifing the lay-out of medical cart on the paper mock-up. Also, trying to figure out the shape of appearance by PU foam and making the 1:1 size mock-up in order to measure the body dimention and simulate the conceptual size in a basic space of hospital.
