Tia Banerjee was elected to represent Grace King as Secretary-Host after a three day campaign at the 2013 Louisiana Association of Student Council (LASC) Convention in Sulphur, Louisiana on January 21. As the newly elected Secretary-Host school, Grace King will host the 64th annual LASC Convention. The convention is held on Martin Luther King weekend. Over 100 schools send representatives to the convention. Around eight to 12 representatives are sent from each school, including middle schools.
