ABSTRACT The main objective of the project is to develop a home security. Nowadays it's very important to secure the all homes. Also, it'll scale back the leader works and saves man power to control the complete house watching. A microcontroller input is effectively interfaced to a GSM module to control completely different appliances and different devices within the home. The system uses GSM technology so providing universally access to the system for automatic appliance management. System provides PIR sensor-based system with alert message on the mobile number of the owner using GSM module. User decision can cut and replay as message and decision back to user variety, system is there for standing Door is open or closed. Microcontroller is that the heart of the project. The facility provide consists of a transformer 230/12V, that steps down the mains voltage to 12V AC this can be born-again to DC employing a bridge rectifier and it's then regulated to +5V employing a transformer 7805, that is needed for the operation of the comparator and different parts. The system uses GSM technology thus providing universal access to the system and it also provides sensor based alert system with call on the saved number. This results in the user getting alerted if there is any intrusion in his/her home via a call or a message on his number.

Home security has been a significant issue wherever crime is increasing and everyone needs to require correct measures to forestall intrusion. Additionally, there's have to be compelled to alter home so the user will take the advantage of technological advancement. This project presents a model which will give security to their home, via SMS and call using GSM technology. Basic plan of our project is to supply GSM primarily based security albeit the owner is removed from the restricted areas. For this we have a tendency to adopt wireless mode of transmission through GSM. Beside this there are several ways of wireless communication however we have a tendency to use GSM in our project as a result of comparing to alternative techniques, this often associates to economical and low-cost answer conjointly, we have a tendency to become accustomed to GSM technology and it's simply out there. This project is intended to supply present access to the system for the protection through GSM technology for communication functions and microcontroller for device management. The elaborated sensors sense the disturbance and inform to the programmed microcontroller then data is shared between dominant unit and residential owner for security purpose. The above product can have a simple style creating it straightforward for users to work with.
