ABSTRACT For every educational institute an ID card for a student is compulsory. ID card is said to be the summary of any student. It is highly essential for an educational institute to provide ID card to each and every student. So we did this project “Student Identification using QR code” is being created to decrease the effort of human as we know before people use the hand-written ID card. But our ID is the pure automated solution and it will help to generate student ID card easily. It is a special type of software which will be used to make an advanced ID card with QR code. Keywords: Summary, Institute, QR code, Automated, solution, software.

INTRODUCTION

The project “Student Identification using QR code” is being created to decrease the effort of human as we know before people use the hand-written ID card. But our ID is the pure automated solution and it will help to generate student ID card easily. It is a special type of software which will be used to make an advanced ID card with QR code. This software will add all the feature in one ID card. Another important point it can be found as open source that means it will be available for free. QR code can be scanned with any device and it will show the information of the student including – attendance, current status to the college and some other details of him/her. This paper proposes a system that is based on a QR code, which is being displayed for students. The students will need to scan the code in order to confirm their attendance

METHODOLOGY

As we studied about all the things which are related to student in the college. Early all work will be done manually with the help of various software’s but here in the QR code project all work can be done using the single software so it will be very easy to maintain the data at one place. And it can be accessible anywhere, any time. As QR code has ability to hold more information than a regular barcode. Previously we are having the QR code scanning systems which are very costly and many more institutes don’t have the ability to afford it. As we studied around all young generation is using the smartphone and the cameras can scan the QR code so we are implementing this on the smartphones as a result it will become cost effective.

MODELING AND ANALYSIS

A data-flow diagram is a way of representing a flow of data through a process or a system The DFD also provides information about the outputs and inputs of each entity and the process itself.

CONCLUSION

Considering the positive aspects of the QR, the proposed method if brought into actual practice will definitely prove to be a boon. The proposed project analyses QRID. By using this application, it is not necessary to carry all the documents every time for office. Simply you have to carry QR code in your Smartphone or ID card. By using our system, the student goes through the verification process through a reliable and efficient manner. QR code is being widely used for implanting messages such that people can easily use their Smartphone's to capture the QR code and gain relevant data from OR code reader. User can get QR code by simply registering with the system.
