ABSTRACT Growing advancements in Technology has made Internet of Things and its applications as integral part of human life these days. Situations like Covid -19 pandemic leads us to understands importance of Social distancing and regular Health monitoring. This paper presents a scenario based study about use of IoT applications by common people for prevention form Covid -19 spread. Keywords: IoT, Application of IoT.
I.
INTRODUCTION
Health care industry is major impacted in Covid-19 pandemic. Health Workers, Hospitals and Medicine distributors are working at ground level for providing their services. The regular practice of visiting hospitals is now changed and use of Contactless Screening and remote video consulting is increased. Every Human life is affected by this pandemic. This creates an urge to study the use of IoT applications for prevention from Covid 19 .

METHODOLOGY
Every individual can follow the Self Prevention mechanism for avoiding Covid -19 infection. A scenario based study of IoT Based Self Prevention mechanism is carried out and presented in Figure 1
Figure 1: Scenario based study of IoT Based Self Prevention System As shown in Figure 1, User can variety of IoT enabled devices for maintaining social distancing and regular check of health parameters. These devices includes Smart Oximeter, Smart Thermal Scanner, Smart mobile phone with Bluetooth Proximity checker application and GPS tracking enabled etc. Blood Oxygen level and heart rate data collected through Smart Oximeter, Body Temperature value sensed through Smart Thermal Scanner will be sent to cloud storage. This secure cloud data storage will also receive data from Mobile Blue tooth of the user about other smart devices and their users who are in closed blue tooth proximity .GPS tracking enabled smart phone will help to track the user in case of any medical emergency.

MODELING AND ANALYSIS
The secure cloud storage will provide database storage for collected IoT device data and Historical data. This secure cloud can be used by Health Care Industry for timely service to user in case of any medical emergency .Health Care Industry officials may analyses this data and provide timely medical consultation, ambulance service at location, hospital bed availability details to user. Government Authorities can use this data collected for analyzing overall Covid -19 infection spread in an area, Policy Designing for Public Health care as per live data. IoT based prevention system will use this secure cloud storage data for Monitoring following Social Distancing factors: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
Distance between two persons : if other person comes in Bluetooth close proximity then Smart Phone will start Alert Beep . Mobile details of person who comes in close Bluetooth proximity will be collected and sent to Cloud for reference. Alarm for Hand wash/ Hand sanitization after every hour. Smart Contact less Thermal scanner will send temperatures data to secure cloud. Smart Oximeter connected to cloud for sending oxygen level and heart rate data for monitoring.
IV.
RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
Data Security is important aspect of this scenario ,since all personal medical data of user is stored on secure cloud . This data is crucial and proper IoT data security should be implemented while handling this personal medical data. Proper data security tools and practice should get applied to avoid misuse of this medical data

CONCLUSION
Use of “IoT Based Self Prevention System” by each individual will reduce the risk of Covid-19 infection and improve the timely service of Health Care industry .
