Whew, it’s Irvington’s first newsletter EVER! Designing the newsletter has been really fun for us, and we’ve all been helping each other out with the theme, designing program, and everything else. We’re all still learning how to make newsletters, but we’ll definitely be trying to get better throughout the months! We hope you guys enjoy the Animal Crossing: New Horizons theme we’ve chosen as much as we do hehe :3 Thanks for reading, and we hope you like our first newsletter! Until next month~

president HELLO KEYUTIES! My name is Tiana Nguyen and I will be serving as your 2020-2021 President! I am going to be a senior this upcoming year, and some fun facts about me are that I really love graphic design (which had actually started when I joined Key), lettering, baking, and trying lots of new foods!! My Key Club journey began midway through freshman year when my friends encouraged me to attend events. Although skeptical at first, I came to realize the impact that Key had on me as a person and my actions. Through the events I attended, the blankets I made, the care packages I assembled, and more, I learned to appreciate give back to the community while loving the things I do. I know that it can be terrifying to join a club at a new school, or to try something different, but my decision to join has brought me to a place that I never would have expected. I had the opportunity to serve my community, make new friends, and create long lasting memories. My experiences in Key will always be those I hold close to my heart, and as the year progresses, I really hope to be able to recreate this moments with you! If you ever need anything, you know that you can always talk to me!! page #4

vice presidents HELLO SUPERHEROES!! My name is Samantha Chou and I am a senior at Irvington :)) I am very excited to be serving as your VP of External Affairs for the 2020-2021 Term!! Some fun facts about me are that my favorite sports are volleyball, track, and badminton! Other hobbies that I have are lettering (which is like calligraphy), drawing, listening to music, and playing league! Although this is only my second year in Key Club, it has been one of the most impactful experiences for me in high school and has provided me with so many opportunities. Not only have I been able to grow as a person, but I have also been able to constantly further my passion for service and giving back to the community. While the amount of things we could do at the beginning of the term was/is limited due to the pandemic situation, there is still so much we can do for our communities and the people who need our service! I can’t wait to serve all of you and make this term one for the books! If you have any questions or want to learn more about Key Club, feel free to contact me or any of the other officers anytime!! Hi I’m Jaden Wei, and I’m a senior next year. I am vice president of internal affairs. I host turtle races in my free time. page #5
