a message from the
multimedia team... HELLOOO superheroes! Wow wow WOW there goes another few months of the year and many, many amazing service events. We had so much fun the past two months meeting all of you guys and showing you all what our club is about. Some highlights from this issue include our board member introductions and service week recaps! We have so many wonderful new officers joining the team, so we hope you get to learn some more about them! I hope that you all enjoy reading about what our club has been up to, and look forward to the many events we still have coming up in 2020. With that being said, I hope you enjoy reading! Sincerely,
Nicole Huynh Multimedia/Project Director

from our vice presidents... Jaden Wei,
Vice President of Internal Affairs Hello! I’m Jaden, a senior this year, and the vice president of internal affairs for Irvington Key Club. I joined in freshman year, but got more involved in sophomore year. FRN was really fun, as we got to go to six flags and everyone was so enthusaistic. In the past few years I also met a lot of new people at DCMs and service events that I still talk to has been really cool and I’d definitely recommend it! I really hope you were able to join us in an InterKeyLeo event or a division service week event, since those were a ton of fun. For this month (November), make sure to come to our general meeting this Friday and look forward to our SIA week service event!
Hello superheroes !! Now that the school year has started, we hope you have all been doing well and making it through distance learning and all the other activities you have going on- especially college apps for seniors !! From our intro meeting to the Fremont Key Bonding to our two service weeks, there were so many exciting things going on. Many of you have been consistently attending our events and meetings, and we sincerely thank you all for your hard work and dedication throughout these first few months of school. For these upcoming months, be on the lookout for many more service events, including a collab events with other D12E schools and SIA service week, and more fundraisers that will all be announced soon :DD I’m also very happy to announce that it is dues season !! We hope that you have gotten a good insight into Irvington Key Club and what we’re all about, and that you’ll join us throughout the rest of the year as well. Though paying dues can seem intimidating, remember that all of us paying dues helps create better events for us in the future !! That being said, if you all ever have any questions about anything, whether it’s dues, how to get more involved in Key Club, or anything else, remember that I’m just one text message or call away :)) Lots of love!
Samantha Chou,
Vice President of External Affairs

introducing our...
{Board} members!! for the 2020-2021 term!
Jeffrey Chang Hi! I’m Jeffrey Chang, and I’m one of the freshmen board members this year. Some of my hobbies are playing badminton, watching Netflix, and listening to music. I hope I can help make this a memorable and fun year!

Jeff Huang
Hello! My name’s Jeff and I’m a Freshman Board Member. My favorite subject this year is PE because it’s the only time I actually get exercise on a daily basis. Although we don’t get to do any activities in PE, it pressures me to exercise, keeping my body fit while my eyes slowly deteriorate. I also learned how to juggle during quarantine. I can also unicycle. Now that I have these two skills, I just need to combine them so I can pursue my dream as a circus clown.
Boyu Zhao
board members
What’s up! I’m Boyu and I’ll be a freshman board member for this year. My least favorite subject in school is probably PE, since the workouts legit get me pretty sore, and I get enough exercise on my own anyway (an hour a day). Some things I enjoy doing include playing piano, basketball, reading, and hanging out with friends. In the future I’d like to learn how to juggle and do some cool magic tricks so I can join the circus with Jeff. Until then, I’ll stick to trying to get 5s on my APs and doing my best as a board member!
Shannon Lo Hello! I’m Shannon and I’m a sophomore at Irvington High School! This year, I’m serving as a Sophmore Board Member in Irvington’s Key Club and I hope to learn lots about the internal processes and inner workings of this club. I’m very excited about the future events we are going to hold and other than this, I’m also part of Irvington’s marching band. Some of my hobbies include playing the trumpet, discovering new music, rollerblading, and karate. I can’t wait to make new memories and friends this year!

Rucha Ranade
Hiii I’m Rucha, I’m a sophomore board member this year. I love to bake, dance, do embroidery, and drink boba. I’m so excited to get to know everyone this year!! :DD
Kirsten Santos
board members
HELLO GUYS! My name is Kirsten Santos and I am one of the sophomore board members in KEY Club. A few things about me are that I love to bake crispy gooey cookies, enjoy taking a sunset walk around the park, and listen to podcasts. I am obsessed with the new game Among Us, so feel free to hit me up to play a round together. I am very excited for this upcoming year and I hope I can it very memorable and enjoyable to you!
Uyen Nguyen
- junior -
Hello I’m Uyen :D I’m a junior and I honestly like frogs, Twice, and anime. Throughout quarantine I’ve been just trying out video games, but the ones that i keep playing are League of Legends, Stardew Valley, and Minecraft. I’ve honestly tried starting a bunch of new animes but I really don’t have the motivation to do so LOL.

Bryan Nguyen
(claps hands) Alright, I’ll keep this brief and short because there is only so much uninteresting stuff that a reader like you can handle before falling asleep. My name is Bryan, with a Y, and I am a junior this year hoping to make the most out of what is left of my high school days. Now if you ever “see” me not sick to my devotion to school and putting myself in tiresome situations that have lead to this self-loathing behavior. . .I need to go outside. . .You can find me drawing on occasion, running if you’re not on phone while being driven away, playing with yo-yos (it’s not an obsession I swear), or making really bad jokes, like right now. . .Other than those things I can be brash and cynical but if you ever feel the need to talk to me (that sounds weird. . .) I try my best to not show those things. Nice to meet you and go read about the other interesting people in this club, aka, the friend material
