El ejercicio pretende modificar y apropiarse de un hito de la ciudad tomando en cuenta la preexistencia y su valor histórico mediante un objeto compositivo (ordenador). Se resuelve a partir de los tres elementos arquetípicos aula aula, porche y recinto; se comprende la plaza como recinto y los objetos ordenadores recinto son aulas y porches que tienen relaciones y experiencias entre la vida y el sitio.

El proyecto parte de la necesidad de tener un espacio para cuatro estudiantes de la FADA en donde puedan realizar desde actividades académicas hasta de descanso; se resuelve con un objeto arquitectónico compacto que aprovecha la topografía para tener su carácter propio y convertirse en un hito de la facultad.

El proyecto surge de la necesidad de un espacio para diseñadores en un parque importante de la ciudad; se propone como de uso público y con interés especial en los fotógrafos fotógrafos, se plantea que el elemento articulador del programa arquitectónico sea el área de exposición (rampa rampa).

La propuesta es una vivienda filtro entre lo público y lo privado, parte de la necesidad de generar un refugio para personas sin hogar en el centro histórico de Quito aprovechando situaciones que le dan carácter al proyecto. El sitio es único y condiciona a la vivienda en su totalidad. La casa filtro se estructura a partir del andamio preexistente, donde se aprovecha el espacio en desuso generando módulos de 4.2 x (1.2 ó 1.7) x 3.1m.

Repensando la FADA (8225.46m2) Tercer Semestre, 2020 Gabriela Naranjo Serrano PUCE-FADA, Quito 0°12’38.1”S 78°29’35.3”W


La intervención se plantea bajo la problemática de la falta de espacio y un aprendizaje convencional en la FADA. Se resuelve con la unificación, activando servidores con el fin de generar lugares que incentiven al aprendizaje activo y a la interacción de la vida, el sitio y la técnica a través de la exploración de limites, tomando en cuenta la importancia del vestigio y la relación tipológica de los objetos arquitectónicos en la FADA.
