PLASTIC MAGAZINE OLGA MEZHIBOVSKAYA Plastic is a contemporary culture and philosophy magazine that I designed in my Typography class. It regards topics ranging from the philosophy of time, music and architecture and classical literature. It is degigned with extreme minimalist designs and the need to have a clear and organized space.

JAN TSCHICHOLD OLGA MEZHIBOVSKAYA During our study of famous typographers I learned about Jan Tschichold, a Swiss calligrapher, typographer and book designer. One of the most important people in the history of design, so I dedicated this typographical foldable poster/brochure to him.
DE CECCO PACKAGING LOUISE FILI In my Packaging Design class by Louise Fili we redesigned a lot of brands, De Cecco’s Pasta rebranding took my favorite spot. The purpose of the assignment was to keep enough of the old (like the traditional blue color) and add order and clarity to the packaging.

SWEET BOTANICALS LOUISE FILI A project from my Packaging Design class by Louise Fili, we designed for a brand of organic hard candies. I knew I wanted to do something that would be coloful and related to botanical plants. I decided to go for a fun, stackable box design.
HERBA BRANDING ERIC BAKER Herba is a project from my Brand Idenity class, the idea was to create a brand for an organic farm. I choose Herba Farms, an organic botanical farm in Upstate NY. They produce all kinds of natural herbs and spices for edible, cosmetic and domestic purposes.

HELLO, HUNGRY BIRD JON CHONKO, DIEGO ZAKS “Hello, Hungry Bird” is a project from my Interaction and Communication class, the idea was to create a brand that never existed before, by solving a common problem we all have. I chose to create an app to aid people find food really late at night, in an area that they don’t know very well. So Hungry Bird finds the best food carts in your area, at all hours of the day, offering the food that you want, and with the honest reviews you need. But with a twist to it.

BA - CARDI PARTY JAMES KUCZYNSKI / BRYAN BARNES WITH CARLI MALEC For the D&AD Awards, my partner and I took on a series of briefs, one of which was Bacardi. The idea was simple and funny: “Bacardi sounds a lot like Cardi B!” We took this seemingly simple plan and expanded on it as much as we could while playing around with the name Cardi. The idea is to gather all the Cardis in the world to create the ultimate Cardi-Bacardi Party, and to make the name Cardi become the next baby boomer generation!
‘You know what, my sister’s name is Hennessy, so everybody used to call me Bacardi. That’s where I got my name’ - Cardi B
There are less than 1600 Cardis in the world. Bacardi is going to invite them all for an ultimate party by introducing a series of mysterious posters all around the world.
HALO TOP CRAVES JAMES KUCZYNSKI / BRYAN BARNES WITH CARLI MALEC Pregnant women have lots of interesting cravings, and ice cream is one of them. But they also crave weirder stuff like pickles, and fish and raw meat. So we decided to give them a chance to combine the foods they crave to create their very own personalized Halo Top ice cream flavors, that will help them go through the pregnancy without feeling unsatisfied. Each ice cream pint comes with its own personalized design and is delivered directly to their doorstep.
CHOCOLATE PICKLES Statistics show that pickles are the number one most craved pregnancy food! So we combined organic fresh pickles with some great chocolate chunks to create the most oddly delishious ice cream you deserve.
CHERRY FRIES Sweet and Savory!! Another deliciously odd combination. Many pregnant woment crave fresh fuit, but also greasy fast foods like french fries.
CARAMEL MACKEREL We have all heard of Sea Salt Caramel, so why not switch the sea salt with actual Mackerel?? We know many pregnant women crave fish and ice cream, so we made it easier for them and already combined the two!
BURGER KING FLAVAH JAMES KUCZYNSKI / BRYAN BARNES WITH CARLI MALEC Burger King is all about the flame, and their delicious flame-grilled whoppers. In this flame grilled experience we decided to fly a Burger King pop up store at the base of the most active volcano there is: Mauna Loa, in Hawaii. The whole project was made in an extremely satirical way, exaggerating every aspect of it, including the voice acting. This project was submitted for the D&AD awards in a video format.
HOW IT WORKS Burger King is all about the
pop-up restaurant that customers have the chance of winning a trip to visit. The twist? It’s located outside the most active volcano there is, Mauna Loa in Hawaii.

AND BRING IT HOME WITH YOU Participants at the pop up can bring home their own piece of the experience with them... Literally. Once the lava from the ultimate will be collected and given to those at the event as souveniers, as well as displayed at Burger Kings across the world.
CASPER SUTRA JAMES KUCZYNSKI / BRYAN BARNES WITH CARLI MALEC Casper is a brand of mattresses known for their affordability, design and comfort. In this project we really wanted to emphasize how comfortable these mattresses really are, so we came up with the Casper-Sutra! The idea is really straight forward: the mattress is so comfortable that you’ll fall asleep no matter what. *wink* All the illustration was done by me while imitating the very iconic Casper style.
