HALLOWEEN AT I.E.S. “LA ROSALEDA” 2016-2017 INTRODUCTION Every year students from the Bilingual Vocational Training course prepare something to celebrate Halloween. For this academic year, I asked my students to tell me what they were going to do for Halloween. However, as not all of them liked this kind of celebration, I offered another option for those who disagreed: they had to write their opinion and feelings about it. Students’ works are presented as they have done it. You may see that the errors and mistakes have not been corrected. WHO HAS PARTICIPATED? Students from the first and second year of the Bilingual Vocational Training Course have participated: 1SR and 2SR. WHAT DID THEY HAVE TO DO? They could either write an essay using some photos and illustrations or create a power point presentation using some photos too. The project had to fulfil some rules. Students were free to express themselves using a word document or a power point presentation; however, they all had to do it following this rules: A)
There must be a sleeve with a title, the name of the author and the group.
B)
Students had to use a photo to illustrate the work.
C)
The essay would not be longer than two sheets.

The day of Halloween in the afternoon I went for a walk with the dog. My costume was police. After giving the walk with the dog went to see to a friend. To the 11 p.m. we went to the city centre. In the centre we find people of different types of costumes. I met with an old friend mine and we went to a bar to take a drink. Then, we went to a nightclub to dance. I arrived very late to my house and very tired, but I've spent a good time with my friends. The feast of Halloween I seem very fun.

In Halloween I love watching scary movies like Nightmare on Elm Street and Family Addams, so my family and I stayed at home watching them with popcorn and chocolate, and I like scaring my sister. In my opinion I prefer stay at home because I don´t like the ambient of the streets nowadays.

This 30th of October, my friends and I went to the pool to play a few games. Then I went with my cousin and her boyfriend and had dinner in my house. After that, we put on our costumes and went to Larios street and we stay in La Marina square. We were dressed as Little Red Ridding Hood book. My cousin was the little girl, her boyfriend was the Woodcutter, my boyfriend was the Hunter an I were the Big Bad Wolf. We had a very good day and had a lot of fun especially in the taxi when we went to our home.

INTRODUCION: Halloween is a holiday celebrated on the night of October 31. The word Halloween is a shortening of All Hallows’ Evening also known as Hallowe’en or All Hallows’ Eve. BODY: Traditional activities include trick-or-treating, bonfires, costume parties, visiting “haunted houses” and carving jack-o-lanterns. Irish and Scottish immigrants carried versions of the tradition to North America in the nineteenth century. Other western countries embraced the holiday in the late twentieth century including Ireland, the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and the United Kingdom as well as of Australia and New Zealand.
PERSONAL OPINION: What did i do in Halloween? ¿Que vas hacer en Halloween? I am not going to celebrate halloween, am going to spend the night as other one anyone No voy a celebrar halloween, voy a pasar la noche como otra cualquiera What do i think about Halloween? ¿Que piensas sobre Halloween ? It looks like to me a senseless party is not a typical Spanish and we nor can celebrate it well Me parece una fiesta sin sentido,no es tipica española y no sabemos celebrarlo bien

What did I do in Halloween? The reason why I choose this option is because I like Halloween and the things they do on it. When I was younger I was always afraid of Halloween but now I’m not, because bad things can happen at any time and yes that why I was afraid of. Now I want to share with you what I’ve done this year, not the best year but It was cool.
This year my costume was a mix of my favorites villains of TV shows and movies in live action. The make up was inspired by the character ‘’The Joker’ from the Batman stories but on a bloody way. The blonde wig and black clothes was inspired by ‘’-A’’ the villain on the TV show ‘’Pretty Little Liars’’ but in the original picture it seems red and the last one thing that is the knife and that pose is inspired by ‘’Chanel’’ a character of the ‘’Scream Queens’’ TV show.
On the 30th of October I dressed up as this character and I’ve been on a party at the house of my best friend, with some friends and we’ve been dancing, taking pictures, drinking and at the end of the party we saw a movie, it was ‘’The Conjuring 2’’ very scary.
On the 31st of October I’ve been on my house with my family and having a familiar meal and we’ve been watching movies all day like ‘’Hocus Pocus’’ a traditional movie on the Halloween day on my house and at night, not scary we saw ‘’Star Wars: The Force Awakens’’ like for the third time. The 1st of November was similar of the last day nothing entertaining jut a relax day because we haven’t had school like for four days and I was tired of waking up early like every day of school. MY OPINION: As I said on the first paragraph I like Halloween but I think it’s becoming in such a commercial festive. I respect everyone who is not with this day and don’t like it. It’s great time to hang out with friends and to get some sweets. Its a great excuse for parties. I enjoyed watching people in all the different costumes. Its a time to be creative and to not be judged on what you wear. But it can also be very dangerous.
MY HALLOWEEN NATALIE Málaga, Benalmádena – 31st of October
The reason of my choice is because I like Halloween a lot, it´s fun and you can be whoever you want for one night and also scare people. This year I stayed at home and couldn’t go out because of economic reasons. If I would have gone out that night, I would have dressed up as one of these characters of the movie ‘The purge’. I really like their costumes. They are simple costumes and at the same time scary. I like Halloween because it’s different and for children it’s fun to dress up and go asking people for sweets.

WHAT DID´S DO IN HALLOWEEN?
I choose this theme because I see it very interesting and although it is an English party, here in Spain every day is celebrated more. In Halloween I go to the terror passage what there is in my village. The girls and the boy dress up the horror character and they go by the street shout the typical phrase “truck or trade. After I and my friends go to the dinner in at restaurant of my village and next we go to see our families and we speak and laugh. Later my friends and I go to the dance in a disco.
In my opinion I think that is a party very funny and although we don’t dress up every year, we had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves. Though sometimes they give us scary frights.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN

My Halloween honestly I do not like much, but what I like about this day is the congratulations that he is my brother to disguise themselves, go home to get candy and I have a great time for him because it is a time that he likes a lot. When I was a kid if I liked, but now with the passage of time still like but not like before.
Nowadays Halloween day for me is a normal day, but I like to party and the theme you have in the bars, clubs ... etc, are nicely decorated and that how cool it is Halloween.
The hallowen day is the most terrorify day of the world .. A lot of childrens about diferents ages go to the street with the best custom. This day I go to the center with Marta, my best friend and we disguise of evil clown. It was very fun.
