ISB SUMMER CAMP 24 June - 9 August Age 2-3 and 4-6
We would like to make your child’s summer as educational as it is fun. ISB Summer Camps do exactly that through themed events activities and assemblies. Your child will enjoy playing developmentally appropriate games. Throughout the summer we reinforce what your child has learned in school. With ISB Summer Camps, your child’s ordinary summer vacation is transformed into a fun and strong foundation for the future.
All our activities are run in English but will be delivered in a multi-sensory way to allow students with any level of English from beginners to natives to enjoy them and take part. All activities are tailored according to the age group. The program runs Monday to Friday and has much flexibility and many options, as students can attend on a daily or weekly basis and for full or half days.
Teachers who are in charge: Ms. Alina Negru, Ms. Cosmina Batrinu, Ms. Damaris Dobre, Ms. Cagla Ocak. They all have experiences working with young children minimum more than 3 years. We offer three different options for our young learners: Short programme 09.00-12.30 Long Programme 09.00-16.00 Extended Programme 09.00-18.30 Our camps run from 24th of June to 9th of August at ISB Campus. Parents who need to be at work early can drop their kids at 8.30. Early comers will play outdoor and indoor games under the teacher supervision until the course starts. Transport can be provided from home to school and back. Please enquire for more details. Transport fee will be calculated according to the numbers of the kids and distance. Time Table

During each week we are going to focus on a certain theme that will help kids to enrich their English vocabulary and review their knowledge in a different area of life. Here are the themes for our summer programme. Themes of The Weeks: 24-28 June English & Art Camp Students will develop all aspects of their English (speaking and listening, reading and writing skills) through a wide range of fun activities, games and challenges. A mixture of individual, paired and group based projects will increase students’ confidence, collaboration and creativity. Students will improve expanding their vocabulary and fluency of spoken English through various interactive activities in different area of life. After 4pm there will be team building games and sports activities that will help increase the students’ confidence at speaking English while playing. The students will boost their creativities with group storytelling, art and crafts, and role-plays during activity times. Students will further develop their vocabulary while drawing, singing, watching videos, reading stories and doing physical activities. They will also improve their social skills, increase their self-esteem and expand their world view.
1-5 July ICT & Maths Camp This week , kids will explore the world of Mathematics and Technology through a various range of interactive activities and games. Here is the list of some activities that run in this week. -Count to ten, twenty -Find the pairs -Find the three chips -Finish the patterns
-Match the pins -What shapes can you make? -Match the sets -Build models with lego 8-12 July-Farming and Agriculture Camp We believe creativity has no age boundaries. Our toddler & preschool activities and classes are designed to engage our youngest learners (ages 2-6 years).This week, kids will experience a taste of farm and nature with interactive fun activities. There will be an excursion to Camping Potigrafu which is 40 km away from school. Here is the list of some activities that run in this week. -Animal art project -Junior animal rescuers -Happy, nutritious food -Get your own garden -Visit friendly animals (in Potigrafu) -Harvest plants -Craft,painting and drawing with lavender
15-19 July-English Creativity Camp This week, you will run your imagination wild and gain new skills with lots of fun indoor and outdoor activities. Here is the list of some activities that run in this week. -Create a face -Create sticky walls -Create hair style -Create costumes -Create your own dance style -Create drama shows -Create stories -Create puzzle, games
22-26 July Leadership Camp We want our kids to be happy, independent and later on to be a good decision taker.The leadership camp is planned to help kids grow into responsible and caring individuals. 29 July-2 August Engineering Camp Little engineers construct fun, simple models like a seesaw, rolling vehicle, spinning top, raft and many more! As they play with and manipulate the models, they experience pulleys, levers, gears and wheels and axles. Here is the list of some activities that run in this week. -Engineering wall -Leaf measurement and sorting -Rainbow ice and salt -Water sensory in a jar -Remote controlled car race -Make your own car 05-09 August Arts Camp: Arts Camp combines Drama, Art, Music and Dance towards a final short show that can prove children’s achievements in Creative and Performing Arts. Drama – Character development through devising and role play Art – Face Painting and Special Make-up Eurhythmics – Harmonious blending of sound, gestures and speaking
List of some games that will be played during play times: Hot potato, do the action, kinetic sand in tray with castles and other plastic shapes,soap bubble blower, obstacle course, memory game/puzzles/snake and ladders, twister, hide and seek, green light - red light, what's the time Mr. Wolf?, "painting" with water on black board outside, Plastic cup stacking, throwing bean bags into buckets,parachute games.
