WHAT DOES
ISSAQUAH Issaquah has established itself as a prime business location in the Northwest. It is home to a Microsoft campus, Siemen’s Medical System, and Costco’s International headquarters.
Ongoing population growth continues to change the landscape of Issaquah. While we are the second fastest growing community in the state, Issaquah has been able to retain parklands, walkable neighborhoods, and increase urban amenities.
Central Issaquah blends the charm of a small town with the bustling atmosphere of urban chic. Fairs and farmers markets are held at the historic Pickering Dairy Farm, and its picturesque red barn provides a popular venue for weddings. Less than a mile away is Gilman Village, a charming collection of historic buildings holding unique boutique stores and eclectic restaurants. In the center of old town you will find art galleries, fine dining, and the award winning Village Theatre.
The Train Depot and Gilman Town Hall display a multitude of early local photos and artifacts, including a two-cell jail dating back to 1914. The 1950’s style Triple XXX Root Beer restaurant holds classic car shows from May through September. The historic Hailstone Feed Store and Shell Gas Station on Front Street, restored to its 1940s glory, is a tribute to Issaquah’s motoring history on the route to Snoqualmie Pass.
With a variety of large g and banks as well as a T Home Depot, and vehic residents can take care without leaving Issaqua

Browse through hundreds of arts and craft stalls, enjoy a parade featuring District high school bands, cheerleaders and drill teams, and take in live music on five stages situated around town. The Kiwanis Salmon Barbecue is also a popular stop during the festival.
Two major health care providers, Swedish Medical Center and Overlake Medical Center, serve Issaquah. Swedish has earned the distinction as one of the 90 ‘Top Hospitals’ in the nation for delivering the highest quality care by preventing medical errors and reducing morality for high-risk procedures.
