01 Introduction The driving force of this programme is to help people in organizations improve the way they face uncertain and turbulent contexts. We will help you develop the capacity to anticipate trends and explore scenarios and how this can improve your approach to strategy and innovation processes. For 5 days, participants will have the opportunity to explore the most cutting-edge concepts and tools in the fields of foresight, strategic design, and innovation, integrated into a unique Futures Framework. We believe that training leads to greater value for participants through direct application and practice. Ana Teresa Freitas

Over 20 years of experience in innovation & tech transfer and is now the Global Head of Innovation at Galp. She is driving growth and innovation through technology, startups, and ecosystem development. She began as a researcher in San Francisco and moved to become a corporate entrepreneur after receiving her MBA.

Co-founder of Heart Genetics. Her main expertise is on the areas of Computational Biology, Human genetics, Algorithms and Data Mining. For the last 15 years she has coauthored about 90 papers in journals and international conferences in those areas.

Professor of the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at IST. Author of the book "The Digital Mind: How Science is Redefining Humanity", published by MIT Press. Former Dean of IST - Instituto Superior Técnico.

Practice Lead and Strategic Intelligence at the World Economic Forum. He oversees partners engagement and innovations with the Forum's collective intelligence platform. He also co-manages the Global Future Council on Innovation Ecosystems.


Pedro Janela CEO and co-founder of WYgroup, the largest national capital group dedicated to digital marketing, advertising and design. He is also co-founder and business angel through the seed capital fund eggNEST. He teaches in digital marketing.

HIPPOtrip A unique way to sightsee in Lisbon. Aboard an amphibious vehicle, the participants will explore the heart of Portugal’s capital, by land and river, without leaving the comfort of their own seat. This experience will be entertained by lively animators, who will share myths, legends, and curiosities during an entertaining ~90 minute show full of positive energy and passenger interaction. It’s all about fun and laughter. Don’t expect a “traditional” sightseeing tour with a “traditional” guide, but rather a memorable experience that will leave all participants shouting out loud…


Fado House & Dinner One of Lisbon pearls, Fado is part of UNESCO’s World’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list. A night of fados is a truly artistic experience in the heart of Lisbon. To have dinner and listen Fado are paired and nurturing rhymes that spreads two major outlines of the Portuguese Culture: national song in permanent evolution, by the new generations, and all the variety of our gastronomy of regional inspiration.

The Bacalhôa brand, established in 1922, has always showed a search for the perfection of their wines. The commitment of Bacalhôa Vinhos de Portugal is focused on the product differentiation, followed by a strong innovative component simultaneously, in order to not only meet but also anticipate and even exceed the expectations of the visitors of its spaces. The company headquarters is located in Quinta da Bassaqueira, in Azeitão, and discover different collections divided into three thematic groups expositor. The visit combines wine, nature and art. From the millennial olive trees transplanted from the Alqueva dam to the winery gardens, to the interior of the premises, the route never ceases to amaze. During the tour, the participants will take the opportunity to taste the wines and fully appreciate the pleasure which can be found in all of wines. From the tasting room, can be admire the tranquil scene of the Japanese garden, in which some of the works of the sculptor Niizuma are exhibited, along with a Kaki tree, the 'great-granddaughter' of the only tree to survive the Nagasaki bomb. After the visit in the Winery and the Museum, it will be time to visit the Palácio da Bacalhôa where you will discover the setting which has the distinction of dating back to founders of the Avis dynasty.
