From HOPE : Religious Head of the Ahmadiyya Anjuman Isha'at-i Islam, Trinidad and Tobago, Haji Jaleelul Rahaman, passed away on Sunday 7 December 2014. Our condolences go out to the family of our departed brother.
Pakistan 100 Years on As usual the annual prayer meeting of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Anjumans Ishaat Islam was organised by our Centre at Lahore. These prayer meetings are organised not for selfaggrandisement or some political purpose. They are solely devoted to prayer and supplication and improving the knowledge of the participants so that they are better equipped to defend the religion of Islam, which was the original purpose of these gatherings. participants. The speakers included from the very young to old. The proceedings started with the Fajr prayers after which an enlightening exposition of the Holy Quran was delivered. A new and notable feature was the direct delivery of speeches by overseas members such as Mr Mudassar Aziz from Berlin. Although the speaker misses the atmosphere of the meetings it is a great morale boaster for our own members present at Dar us Salaam (Lahore). Hazrat Ameer’s appeal for donations led to contributions of almost 10 million Pakistani Rupees. May Allah bless all those who donated so generously and reward
