ABOUT THE ACCOMMODATION INSTRUCTIONS / INFORMATION AIR CONDITIONING / HEATING You will find a Nest thermostat on the wall in the master bedroom. To adjust the temperature, just rotate the dial. We find that a setting of 78F/25C to 80F/27C keeps the temperature and humidity sufficiently comfortable. Please make sure all windows and outside doors are closed while the air conditioning or heat is operating to ensure maximum efficiency. BED LINENS / TOWELS Extra bath towels and bed linens can be found in the right-side cabinet in the TV den. There are also striped beach towels in a beach basket for you to use at the beach. You do not need to take towels to the rooftop pool; towels are provided there. BLINDS Our home is equipped with motorized blinds. To operate: 1. Press the right side of the circle on the remote control wand (3 o’clock position) to illuminate all of the red lights, which represent all of the blinds. 2. To operate all of the blinds at once, press the top side of the circle (12 o’clock position) while all red lights are illuminated to raise the blinds, or press the bottom side (6 o’clock position) to lower them. 3. To operate the blinds individually, press the right side of the circle (3 o’clock position) until only one red light is illuminated, then press the top side of the circle (12 o’clock position) to raise the designated blind, or the bottom side of the circle (6 o’clock position) to lower it. The first (top) light represents the first blind (closest to the kitchen), the second light represents the second two blinds, and the third and fourth lights represent the bedroom blinds.

BREAKAGE/SECURITY DAMAGE DEPOSIT We understand that sometimes accidents happen. Should you break anything, please let us know immediately – if it's minor we usually won't charge. If it's a larger issue (e.g. the TV screen!) we would like to come to an agreement on cost before you leave to avoid any issues later. Thank you! Please let us know if anything breaks or stops functioning during your stay. We check the property and all inventory before you check in and after you check out to ensure everything is working properly. CEILING FANS Our home is equipped with ceiling fans to help keep you cool. Each fan is operated by a switch on the wall or by a pull chain on the fan. CLEANING You will find the house clean on arrival but please let us know if you are not satisfied. We will provide at least one interim cleaning during stays of at least six nights. Let us know when you would like to schedule interim cleanings. If you would like more frequent cleaning service, please let us know and we can arrange this for an extra payment. 3. Tamp down coffee with the back of a spoon. 4. Place brew-basket on bracket with outlet arm positioned over the center of the brew-basket. 5. Adjust slide on front of brew-basked to open (upper) position. Caution: brewbasked will overflow if slide is in closed (lower) position. 6. Place thermal carafe beneath the brew-basket. 7. Switch the power switch to the “on” position. The orange light will illuminate when the thermal carafe is placed properly against the white button at its base. 8. The brew process will quickly begin; water will be brought to a boil, rising through the brewer across the outlet arm and into the brew-basket. Brew process is complete in 4-6 minutes. 9. Remove the carafe and screw in cap loosely to facilitate pouring. 10. Switch off the brewer. 11. Dispose of coffee grounds and filter. Nespresso Machine 1. Fill container at rear of machine with water. 2. Lift silver handle on top and insert espresso capsule into opening. 3. Close hatch door and place cup under outlet. 4. Watching cruise ships steam in and out of port from our balcony. Getting a massage, manicure or pedicure at Metamorfosis Day Spa, 159 Francisca Rodriguez (across the street from Pier 57), 322-222-6162 Jungle ziplining and other mountain and water tours with Vallarta Adventures, www.vallarta-adventures.com Visiting Vallarta Botanical Gardens, 15 miles south of Pier 57 on Highway 200. Snorkeling at Las Marietas Islands and Los Arcos. Taking a variety of walking food tours with Vallarta Eats, www.vallartaeats.com. Browsing the shops along Basilio Badillo, along Isla Cuale, and the “flea market” and shops just north of Rio Cuale Strolling along the two-kilometre malecon (beach-front boardwalk) at sunset.

Watching for iguanas in the trees at River Cafeé . Making a day trip to Yelapa on the south shore of Banderas Bay. Take a water taxi from Los Muertos Pier at the foot of Francisca Rodriguez. Traveling north to the charming little beach towns of Bucerias and Sayulita, with a stop at the dramatic Punta Mita peninsula with its high-end resorts. Best to rent a car for this, but bus service is also available.

LOCAL TRANSPORT BUSES Puerto Vallarta has an extensive and inexpensive bus system that can take you all around town as well as to destinations north and south. For details, log into https://visitvallarta.com/essentials. TAXIS / UBER Both taxis and uber vehicles are plentiful in Puerto Vallarta.
