DNE's message

OOH - AH ! Hey monkeys! Welcome to our first issue of the school year! (for most of us). We have had many fundraisers in the past month and I hope you all have been doing well with online school. Of course, it's a new thing for everyone, but we're all learning together! Of course, service doesn't end, but we're settling in, and making sure everyone has enough time for service and school! Anyways, I hope everyone has a good school year and I hope you all enjoy this issue of

Executive Assistants'Message HII! How's it going Green Monkeys? I hope all of you are doing well in school so far. I wish you the best of luck in all your classes. I know it can get stressful at times, but it will get better. We just have to trust the process and everything will find its place :) Firstly, thank you to everyone who came out to the boba fundraisers this month! We had it at three different locations and the turnout was great. We could not have done it without you guys! Second, I hope club rush/week at your schools went well. Key Club provides so many opportunities for its members and I can't wait to see what's in store for the club. Attracting new members is hard work, but I believe we have the potential to help Key Club grow! Lastly, we will have new service events and more fundraisers as we approach the new month. So, we will keep you posted and I hope you all can participate. P.S, holiday season is on its way and you know I've been blasting Christmas music lately. But all in all, I miss all of you and I can't wait to meet you in person when we are permitted to. In the meantime, stay safe and stay motivated! Sincerely,

Mikayla Gurrero || D13N EA hey what's swinging monkeys?! it's victoria nguyen, one of your lovely executive assistants serving you for this years term. I hope you and your families are continuing to practice social distancing, washing your hands, sanitizing, etc. for everyone's safety. I am sure all of you have begun school this past month, and are dreading the pain of looking through a screen for hours, remember to take breaks and your mental and physical health matter too. So take of yourself :)) Now that school is back, member recruitment is key as we are trying to pass our district goals. Although we are virtually in school, you can still contact school regarding a virtual club rush, having a flyer posted on the school website etc. There are a variety of way, so be sure to promote it even if you are just a member. I know it is hard to stay motivated whether it's school or being active within a club, but try to find a light. I hope to see you all in real life or through a virtual event soon !

Swinging with a smile,

Victoria Nguyen
