WHAT'S NEW

Hey Y’all.

Who’s ready for the youth showmanship season to begin!? I know I am. Little Miss ITLA and I have been working with our show team for awhile now and are excited to finally get to show them in the show ring.

The last couple of weeks we have been busy fundraising, representing, and preparing our animals for the upcoming shows. Shoutout to Mr. Robbie and Mrs. Fran Andrews from Andrew’s Farm for inviting us to fundraise at their booth at the Got to be NC festival in Raleigh, NC. We had a wonderful time informing people about this amazing breed and meeting lots of new friends including little Mr. Xavier H. who was kind enough to take a picture with us and made a big personal contribution to our fundraising efforts. Thank you, Xavier! We also had the pleasure of meeting Miss Bailey North Carolina while fundraising at the Blooming Festival in Nashville, NC. Wishing y ’all a great summer and I can’t wait to see everyone at the upcoming shows. Keep working hard and sharing kindness.

God Bless, Rachael

Ephesians 4:32 - “And be ye kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. ”

WHAT'S NEW

Traditions stay alive, sometimes with changes. New can keep the old going. New pastures feed the herd when the time comes.

Just like when we haul our long horns to taller fresh grass pastures. Changes are always around us, and they can be good! The Drover is on a new pasture and it keeps the tradition.

Spring and summer means rotating pastures to keep the herd healthy. Calves come and animals keep growing. Raising an old treasured breed in long horns means always knowing when it is time for new pastures and keeping the pastures healthy.

Welcome to the new pasture, Drover, and thanks for always helping the breed.
