IU Said YES— Congratulations! Next Up: New Student Orientation

New Student Orientation

Get Ready

for New Student Orientation How do you become an official IU Hoosier? Start by attending the required two-day New Student Orientation (NSO) program in Bloomington this summer.

First Things First Now that you’ve been admitted, there are a few things you need to do: 1. Complete your Intent to Enroll form and pay your $100.00 deposit at intenttoenroll.indiana.edu so we know to invite you to NSO. We will begin to send invitations in mid-March. Once you’re invited, you’ll choose your preferred orientation dates. 2. Complete the setup of your @indiana.edu email address at itaccounts.iu.edu. Start checking your IU Bloomington email account on a regular basis. 3. Go to fafsa.gov to complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). 4. Go to rps.indiana.edu/housing.cfml to fill out your on-campus housing application. 5. Get online! Explore the FYE website, follow us on Twitter, and join our Facebook family. You’ll see what to expect your first year. Plus: you’ll be in the know for orientation updates as they come!
