The Young Ambassadors for Chemistry (YAC) is a project of the IUPAC Committee on Chemistry Education that trains teachers around the world to communicate the benefits of chemistry to the general public with the help of their students as young ambassadors. In September 2019, the project was held in Mongolia with enthusiasm and success to share. Other features include the 2020 selection of Ten Emerging Chemical Innovations, the Minamata Convention to regulate global mercury pollution, the story of CHORUS and what it does to help tracking funded research and Compliance, a celebration of PAC60 through the lenses of the 1961 publications of the inaugural IUPAC International Symposium on the Chemistry of Natural Products.
