We are so glad to have obtained ISO 9001-2015 Certification on April, 2018. ISO is an independent, non-governmental international organization with a membership of 163 national standards bodies. An organization which through its members, draws together specialists to share knowledge and develop voluntary, consensus-based, market-relevant International Standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global challenges.
This quality model was implemented in IVI DMC² during the year 2000. One that allows every associate to identify the interaction between the core and support processes within our company - from conception to completion. ADMC Certification Puerto Vallarta On april 2018, we received the incredible news that our Puerto Vallarta & Riviera Nayarit office is now an Accredited Destination Management Company. IVI DMC² Puerto Vallarta & Riviera Nayarit has been granted a fine distinction by ADMEI, that of being an Accredited Destination Management Company (ADMC). This recognition means that we meet the standards and criteria that are indicative of the highest quality as a destination management service provider. IVI DMC² Cancun & Riviera Maya was the first DMC in Latin America to be certified as ADMC by ADMEI and has continued to achieve this accreditation since then. We have to be reassessed annually and recertified every 3 years. ADMEI’s Destination Management Company Accreditation program is designed to elevate professional standards and designate firms that demonstrate advanced knowledge and experience, essential to the practice of destination management. Continuing to improve our knowledge & skills in the industry We are very pleased and proud for this effort, but above all, we continue our constant efforts to improve our knowledge & skills in this industry. Our Puerto Vallarta office along with our Cancun Offices have been accredited with the ADMC recognition, and we are coming for more!

DMCP Certification Our pledge to excellence
On February 2018, our associates Raquel MIJARES, from IVI DMC² Cancun & Riviera Maya, and Yazmin ELOSEGUI, from IVI DMC² Los Cabos, completed the exam to obtain the DMCP (Destination Management Certified Professional) an exam implemented by ADMEI (Association of Destination Management Executives International) What is DMCP? Destination Management professionals who earn their Destination Management Certified Professional (DMCP) designation demonstrate the highest level of knowledge and commitment to the destination management profession. To earn the DMCP designation, an individual must have years of experience in the field, active involvement in continuing education programs and have passed an exam that covers the body of knowledge of all aspects of destination management. This certification is good for five years; recertification requires continuing demonstration of active involvement in the destination management community and continuing education in all aspects of destination management. Assertive Communication Workshop Demonstrating that our most valuable resource is our people. On July 2018, our co-worker Mariana LEON imparted the “Assertive Communication� workshop with the intention to improve the interdepartmental communication within our organization. As part of the workshop, our employees gave their opinions as well as a few suggestions aimed toward the improvement of the communication. The course was carried out at the Cancun Hotel Association, where we received the participation of all departments involved. The duration of the course was 10 hours which was divided into two sessions. After listening and analyzing the recommendations of each staff member, we performed a few hands-on activities where the associates were very participative and dedicated to the improvement of the communication at all levels. During the workshop, we discussed ways to improve communication between managers and their teams. Various examples were proposed and analyzed so they could then be implemented. Our priority is to have a highly trained staff, and by this we demonstrate that our most valuable resource is our people. Page 7
CMS Certification Mexican Caribbean
Our associates constantly improving to give you the highest quality service. On July 2018, our associates from IVI DMC² Mexican Caribbean, Eugenia Esparza, Ximena Lopez, and Ismael Orozco had the pleasure of attending the CMS Certification (Certified Meetings Specialist) as part of the 3rd edition of the Meetings & Events Institute, at Moon Palace Cancun. The duration of the course was 3 days and was presented by Fernando Compean. During these 3 days, our co-workers gave their best to achieve the certification. They are now part of a long list of CMS personnel that we have in each of our destinations in Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central America. We are highly proud of you!

CMS Certification Dominican Republic On October 2018, our IVI DMC² Dominican Republic Staff, Karina Del Rosario, and Yoan Mercedes took the 3-day course with the purpose to obtain the CMS certification. They both did a great job and made us very proud of having co-workers with such great enthusiasm, giving the best of themselves for this opportunity. Our associates have since obtained the CMS (Certified Meetings Specialist) and CCM (Certified in Congress Management) certifications. IVI DMC² always makes the greatest effort to have the best staff not only well trained in each area, but also providing opportunities like these to obtain certifications related to the industry. Above all, IVI DMC² works to have staff at the forefront of the industry demands. We work every day so that our clients feel confident that they are teaming up with people updated in the industry trends. Page 9
CIS, CMS & CES Certifications Los Cabos Continuing to improve our knowledge & skills in the industry.
Doing our part to make sure your needs are surpassed! In November 2018, our associates from IVI DMC² Los Cabos, Yazmin Elosegui and Marla Guadian, obtained the CIS (Certified Incentive Specialist) certification implemented by the international association SITE (Society for Incentive Travel Excellence), which consists of a certification program specialized in the meetings industry in the field of incentive travel. Yazmin and Marla were certified as CMS (Certified Meetings Specialist) by Meetings & Events Institute, after having completed a 3-day course at Paradisus Los Cabos. Additionally during the 5th edition of the Meetings & Events Institute, our associate, Leticia Neri from IVI DMC² Los Cabos, was certified as CMS (Certified Meetings Specialist) and CES (Certificate on Sustainable Events), which the overall purpose is to transform conventional events into sustainable events, by designing high-quality strategies that will have a positive economic, social and environmental impact in the community where the event will take place.

First aid and CPR Maintaining the safety of our co-workers is essential, by that reason we make the best effort to provide first aid, CPR year by year and implement the correct use of fire extinguishers in all our offices in Latin America. Also, we have created internal brigades, where associates of each department play a very important role in case of an emergency. We know each second is important, therefore we want to make sure that our associates are well trained, and know how to act in case of an emergency, such as a fire, an earthquake, a hurricane and evacuation procedures.. Additionally, simulation exercises are carried out periodically with the intention of adopting the most convenient routines to implement in the case of an emergency. We reinforce the knowledge acquired during the theoretical training sessions, serving as a practice in identifying the means of acting before any contingency. Security; an essential component at IVI DMC² Besides of the training of our staff for these types of emergencies, we have implemented a warning system through verbal codes, bells, whistles, sirens, signs, and lights, which in some cases, these devices are installed in our offices. Water rescue & Fire training Instilling not just the right tools but skills required to perform in case of an emergency. As part of the vital training at the company, we ensure that all of our associates are trained in water rescue and fire training, so in real cases, they know how to act. This watercourse was implemented at Maroma Adventures and had a duration of 4 hours. In the course, we were instructed on how to float carrying a person as well as provide first aid. Since we provide several water activities, it is of vital importance to have trained personnel who can tend to our clients on a consistent basis. The proper care of our customers in different circumstances is of high importance for IVI DMC². Year by year we renovate and train new staff, in order to strengthen knowledge and of course, prepare our new employees for any type of situation. Our training sessions are in sea and land.

Risk management Steady planning for the unforeseen Our risk management course took place at the Cancun Hotel Association and was imparted to all the process leaders of each area of the organization. A detailed risk analysis was carried out in all procedures, as well as how to mitigate the risks through action plans. For this, didactic activities were designed to exemplify real scenarios and discover how to mitigate the risks involved and turn them into opportunities.
According to our ISO 9001:2015 Certification we ought to renovate and train for risk management in every level of the organization. This way we anticipate various situations that could influence the level of satisfaction of our clients and partners. During the years we have learned how to apply preventive and corrective actions in accordance with our quality system to avoid putting our operation at risk for our clients.

Internal auditing Assuring everything is flowing smoothy inside and out All year round, we perform internal audits to each functional area of the company, with the intent to properly apply all our procedures according to the quality system. Our audits last approximately 1 week and they are carried out several times a year. Through these audits, we can identify not only the area of opportunity in our departments, but also we look to implement potential improvements to our procedures. Since we first obtained our ISO 9001 certification in the year 2000, we have been implementing this type of internal evaluations. Thanks to these exercises we have managed to stay ahead in terms of work methods, process performance, customer service, and other valuable areas.

We can run faster than Speedy Gonzalez, we can be in 2 or 3 different places at once, and are willing to do anything legally possible for our clients. You can find us popping up at airports, historical and archeological sites, deluxe resorts, charming hotels, golf courses, scenic beaches, and even at the best restaurants in town.
